2 - Mario Gomez had five shots at Euro 2008 and scored no goals. He's had four shots so far at Euro 2012 and scored twice. Matured.
 
Had questions about Holland's defence before the tournament and wow they are poor. Germany have stepped it up this game but not even by much.

You see there is the difference between me and someone else. I predicted Dzagoev to score the first goal yesterday but decided not to put money on it!!!!
 
The Dutch are giving Germany so much of space in the center of midfield. Their holding midfielders are really deep and the front 4 are too far ahead. Hope they sort that out in the 2nd half.
 
If Germany score another early on in the 2nd I can see them going on to score 5 easily. Can't see anyway back for Holland at all, especially with the players they have on that are playing really poor. Willems is having a nightmare on the left, same for Afellay.

Also, not sure if this is allowed here or against the rules or something, but we've just started a new football coverage account on twitter, wonder if any of you lads could give us a follow? @DemandFootball - will happily follow everyone back, if this isn't allowed then tell me and I'll edit this bit out. :)

It's funny you should say that because I was going to put a couple of quid on Blaszczykowski scoring the next goal at 12/1 odds, decided not to, then he pops up with that class equaliser lol. From now on I'm just going to go with my gut instinct.

Just before kick-off I saw Germany to win 4-0 at 50/1, put a pound on it but now I'm wishing I'd gone with a tenner because that scoreline looks likely...
 
A win to either team is going to make thing interestng for the 3rd game.
As it stands, Germany are on 6, Denmark and Portugal 3 and Holland 0.
Should Germay beat Denmark and Holland beat Portugal, then 3 teams are on 3 points. Not sure whether they decide 2nd through Head to Head record (Not that it would make a difference as if my predictions are correct, the 3 teams would cancel each other out) or Goal difference. I'm posting this under the assumption that Holland are going to lose this game.

Courteous? Lol.

Cech is declining, you give him a four year contract but have a keeper who you call "Courteous" but it is actually Courtois who has been magnificent this season with bags of potential and Cech has had question marks towards him throughout times this season, not later than that Muller goal in the CL Final, which despite the joy of Chelsea fans, it definitely was an error not to save that.

Why give a declining keeper a four year contract when you have Courtois who is at a similar level already, should be giving him the first choice gloves, if not now (which it should be) then definitely next season...

Was not that impressed with Germany, the two goals they scored was down to poor defensive positioning.
