Teams in order of current world rakings as of 21st September. Next update date is 19th October so will be after the playoffs are announced

Croatia (coefficient 32.723)
Portugal (31.202)
Republic of Ireland (28.203)
Czech Republic (27.982)
Pot 2 (unseeded teams)
Turkey (27.601)
Bosnia and Herzegovina (27.199)
Montenegro (21.876)
Estonia (20.355)


ROI have a very, very good chance.
 
I'd take any of the unseeded teams bar Turkey.

We should be able to beat Montenegro over two legs with the quality we have.
We beat Bosnia in the play-offs for the World Cup and I see no reason why we shouldn't be able to do it again.
Estonia are by far the weakest team in the play-offs and we should see them off fairly comfortably.

Turkey are always capable of something magic and their fans are nuts so going to Turkey is not something the players would relish. Such a hostile place and they are probably the best of the unseeded teams so I'd want to avoid them.

Prediction for the draw is -

ROI vs Montenegro
Portugal vs Estonia
Czech Republic vs Turkey
Croatia vs ​Bosnia-Herzegovina
 
We suck! Now that's a novelty , what I do admit, we ocasionally suck cause we think it will all be guaranteed, but when we're in a good day, we're near unstopable.

Instead of saying other suck, you should worry about your own country, i mean, unless you're one of those idiots, that don't really support anyone, and just want a certain team/country to lose.
 
Hmm , sometimes we should be more, because we always think, "oh foreign things (in general are better". Let's hope that changes soon.

I think that has been changing honestly, due to the giant amount of other nationalitys that have been coming to our country, we've been prefering national stuff, then foreign lately. Still a few of us, could be more. Specially, the stupid gorvernment. Still, we're going to beat Bosnia. They're a good side, but not as good as us.
 
I think in normal conditions, we'll beat Bosnia, in abnormal conditions, we'll beat them too.

Not sure Portugal are going to have a very easy time of it against Bosnia tbh. You were poor against Denmark (although Denmark played very well) and could easily have lost by more. B+H played well vs France and were unlucky not to qualify automatically. Apart from the obvious threats of Dzeko and Pjanic they actually have a decent side which can pass the ball well, and a manager who knows what he is doing.

I think it will be a close game and you are in for a very hard match.
