WEE WERE PRAYING FOR GREENS TOO :D We love opponents who underestimate us by saying its easy win for them :)
 
I also do think that it will be very hard BUT. If we don't beat them, what would we be doing in the European cup anyway ^^ We just need to have a good day, our problem against denmark was ( their good playing too) mainly our arrogance, thinking it was all guaranteed, look what happened, and we deserve it.
 
Bosnia are better than Denmark, IMO. They've got Dzeko supported by a whole crop of playmakers like Medunjanin, Pjanic, Misimovic, Ibricic and Stilic. They're not short on quality strikers either, with Muslimovic and Ibisevic. Obviously, their defence isn't as good as Portugal's, but Spahic and Papac are good players and Mudjza is a quality full-back if somewhat defensively shaky.

Oh, but the Danes do have a player called Bjellend, so y'know, maybe Bosnia aren't better.
 
think Portugal will get beat as they dont seem as good as the once were and what godcubed said ;)
 
Rematch of Croatia and Turkey. I hate Turkey cause let's face it they are team that can only win in last minutes of the game. Chances are 50:50. but I believe that Croatia will go to EURO
 
Hmm , I think Turkey vs Croatia is very balanced! Croatia is better, but Turkey have Guus Hiddink ;)
 
My money would be on Croatia, Ireland, Bosnia and the Czechs going through
 
Bosnia definitely have enough to beat Portugal, think they may do it over the two legs

Let them talk, people here are funny, they have tons and tons of arguments, bla bla bla but it's just stupid saying Bosnia is stronger thn us. It's obviously we're a WAY better side, and we are in for the win, i want to see them talking after the match. And Denmark played very well indeed, but it was one game, Carlos Queiroz ****** our team, and that's why we're going to the play offs, if Paulo Bento was there from the start we would have finished in the 1st place, seriously , draw against Cyprus 4-4? Losing to Norway? It's obviously they aren't stronger aswell, still, we lost, because of stupid manager. If you see all those facts, it's kinda obvious we would be there right now, if it wasn't for a stupid man, called Carlos Queiroz.

I think this is quite a naive statement and Bosnia are probably just above Portugal as a competitive side at the moment, think they will go to the Euros IMO.

They are better? We lost the game to Denmark, due to the simple fact, that our defense was obviously ****. Ricardo Carvalho wasn't called , Pepe is injured, Coentrão is injured, Bosingwa wasn't called, Silvio is injured. Our best striker aswell, Hugo Almeida is injured, and Helder Postiga, is obviously the same as playing with a -1 player. If in the game against Bosnia, we're with our best team on the field, we will win. It doesn't matter if we lose or draw in Bosnia(1st game there), we will beat them here, and we will go to the Euro.
 
Oh, fun also, Ireland didn't go to the world cup because of the Henry hand, and they went to Euro with big help of a "non hand" by the armenian player , when the replay clearly showed it was chest. Ok I guess it's compensation that came from the above, but poor Armenia, lol , if it was France though... XD
 
You Portuguese are taking qualification for granted and you shouldn't. Your edge over Bosnia is Ronaldo, but they're a good side and they can beat you. The odds are indeed in your favor, but it shouldn't be a one-sided tie as you're making it out to be.

I doubt it, you've lost your defensive solidity with the loss of Carvalho to retirement. He was your rock and all you have now is a pile of pebbles.

Calling a defence, that, in maximum strenght, will have Bosingwa on the right, Pepe and Bruno Alves in the center, and Coentrao in the left ... PEBBLES? I rest my case. No comments can be made on this.

I never said they were, as a matter of fact I said Ronaldo gives you an advantage over Bosnia, but you'll have to play well to get through.
