Because without Suarez giving Liverpool the ability to beat United (which wasn't happening in a millions years if he wasn't there) then Liverpool are at best 2 points worse off and level or worse behind Bolton.

So you think Liverpool arn't underperforming? This is Liverpool's level? May as well not go out and spend on the follwing players they need.

With the current squad, 6th is a good place to finish. Are Liverpool better than Chelsea/United/Arsenal/City/Spurs? No.
We've won United at home in the last three seasons...Suarez's played one...

Yes liverpool are underperforming however its not just that, Other teams are performin better and thats what everyone needs to realise its no longer the big 4. Its easy enough to say Liverpool are underperforming but maybe its just the fact that Man city and co are improving ?

Definately, we can win the big teams when we're underdogs, but put us against West Ham, and we'll probably lose, and then win against United.
