Ruling us out by saying the destruction begins after a few minutes is being silly. We have played very well imo and are unlucky to be 2-0 down.

Not silly at all. When a team who, let's face it, are at a far higher level than us, score after just 3 minutes with an easy goal due to poor defending, a chronic disablilty for us, that conclusion could be jumped to.

We haven't played 'very well'. If we had, we wouldn't be 2-0 down, and looking at more.

And that should have been 3-0 there.

Saying that should be 3-0 because Arda got close?

Then I can say that should be 3-2 there (ki and ledleys chances)

We have done very well. We are away and as you said there team is of a higher level yet we have had a similar amount of chances and possession.

Sorry, moaning? What's with you and being ridiculously cutting with what you say to people?
Please note that comment was made when Falcao scored, and I still think what I thought about us in the EL: we're leaving by Crimbo. I wouldn't say we've matched them, we have played beyond my expectations, bu they've made us look like schoolboys at times. Thankfully, we've been better in the second half than the first.

I don't think we'd be any better off with Broony right now, I'm not sure how Stokes would be doing, but I think Izzy could've made an impact on the left if he were here.

EDIT: *ahem* Looks like 2-0. Shcoking defending, Arda runs rings round us and we look like schoolboys.

They havent really hit their stride either, been pretty comfortable from them really

you've had 40% possession and they have had 15 shots to your 6

Barca had 70% possession and about 20 chances to Milan's 30% and 4-5. So those stats are pointless. Only thing that matters is goals scored.

he said they had similar possession and chances, they didnt

Fair enough, although it doesnt seem that way.

Im not saying we deserved to get something from this game but we have played well imo and certainly have not embarrassed ourselves.

Celtic didnt embarrass themselves at all, far from it. It just shows what a quality side Atletico are

Well, if you're going to be going like that, then by your logic it should be about 7-2. Similar amount of chances and possession? No. We've had numerous half-chances and one great chance through Hooper, but Atletico had a number of clear-cut chances.

Done very well? No chance. Take off the green specs for just a moment and have another look.

They werent awful. Celtic were decent, but Atletico are a cut above, and it will be the case with Udinese and Rennes

No, they weren't awful, but they certainly weren't 'very good'. Atletico are a very good side, but I think we're a pretty poor side at the moment, so it could have been far worse. I don't see it could be categorised as 'very good', but I'm not entirely disappointed with the result.

Another poor performance by Fulham, defeat beckons against City on Sunday. Jol's got it all to do.

I think for the money that celtic have spent on our team compared to athletico we did well. I don't think our whole starting line up would come to 10 million so to lose 2-0 away wasn't bad.

I actually was quite pleased, then again, I'm an FC Twente supporter. Why exactly did the Fulham board chose Martin Jol as the new head coach? Because I think he's quite rubbish.

On paper, Martin Jol is a very good choice to manage us considering his record at Tottenham, however, I don't think we had the right players to fit into his style of play. Yesterday we had no width and it was very crowded in the centre, its like the players don't understand what there role is. I thought Twente were very good, the goal was particularly good, a great counter attack and good cross. Luuk De Jong stood out for me. Wasn't a huge fan of Rosales though, a bit of drama queen when it comes to getting tackled. Martin Jol has a lot to prove though, hopefully Bryan Ruiz can turn things around for us but we've got Man City at the weekend so i don't expect much. Thought your fans were brilliant as well, mainly because I was sitting right next to them, they were singing throughout the whole game.

**** me. The Europa League is really bollocks... Tottenham aren't interested, Stoke are boring, and the level of quality in general is so disappointing so far.

Wonder if you will think its bollocks when your knocked out of the group stages and enter the EL? That is if you can make 3rd. :P

Blues game last night was very good for the neutral.

1st half our passing was woeful, I dont think Carr made a pass to a Blue shirt. It got better as the half went on. Rooney really should have scored before Braga did, and I am rather unsure as to why King took the free kick right before half time.

2nd half was fantastic, there 2nd goal, dubious as it was, was very well taken. Offside flag may have been raised, but thats a different matter. Kings goal was very well worked by Burke. Redmond was a cut above again, desperatly unluck with his curling effort from about 30 yards, although the 'kepper made a meal of it. The next 20-25 mins was just all Blues, its a shame we couldn't find the net. Pushing up obviously resulted in us losing a 3rd.

Overall was very pleased with the way we played, especially making 6 or 7 changes to the first team from Sunday.

Was disappointed with the way Braga players went down everytime they was touched. The RB who "appeared" to be caught by Spector rolled around for about 20 seconds "in agony" before realising he never got the free kick to get straight back up and run back.

Braga players should have got an Oscar for some of their acting-was cringeworthy. Rooney looks like a nifty little player too. Both Birmingham and Stoke played well to be honest, Stoke especially. Proper backs to the wall defending. Just a shame they conceded just before the end.
