Press statement from Flores
As expected Everton Chairman Gonzalo Flores has released a statement signalling his intentions in these final hours of the transfer window. This is what he had to say.
"I am not happy with the clubs performances in the last month or so and I feel we have underperformed due to our inability to score goals. Our top goalscorer in all competitions is only on 10 and our first choice striker Jese has only 2 goals in all competitions which is unacceptable which is why he has been told he will be leaving the club. A couple of other players have also been told that they can leave the club including Kiyotake and Gago. We are looking to make 1 or 2 signings this transfer window and I am looking to sign both a striker and an attacking midfielder to play behind the striker. If there are any chairman who have players available and feel as though a deal could be made here then I ask them to message me."
Gonzalo Flores has released the following list stating the players who are available for transfer and how much he is looking to get for them.
Kiyotake £20 Million
Jese £25 Million
Gago £25 Million
Navas £7.5 Million
Bennett £7.5 Million
All of these fees are of course up for negotiation.

We believe that their experience will be vital to us in the coming months, especially in the wake of our injury crisis. With one more bid pending, we have nearly done on the transfer front, and with no distractions, we will look to seal the league. However, if a good bid does come in for one of our guys, we will by all means consider it."
As promised, Mr Fish also made his thoughts public on the spat currently taking place in Germany. "It's absolutely pathetic. I don't see why 1860 are moaning, until he signs on the dotted line, he isn't their property anyway. Besides, Mr Roberts got a much better deal in return.
I'd also like to point out the benefits Schalke will get, in that they don't sell to a rival. With respect to Mr Robinson, and Mr Explorer (I hope he has a brother called internet!), I wouldn't sell them a player of Coutinho's calibre. Not to a league rival. 1860 should put up and shut up. Plenty of other players to buy, go and get on with it."

"I don't know why he's getting involved, he's completely irrelevant to the situation. I don't get involved with his attempts to be controversial, he's trying to create the illusion of being an exciting person but really he's extremely boring. I don't see why he'll get involved with an argument other than a last ditch desperate attempt to bring a bit of attention to a small club in a small league that only has one top team. And as far as I'm concerned with lewie it's over. Dave has leapt to 1860 chairmans defence by saying " the way lewie conducted himself during that transfer business was shocking, he has acted with no dignity at all and really should of stuck to his arrangement once he had agreed to it. I also agree with Conor in his assessment of mr fish, he seems to just be desperate to be involved in any controversy for obvious reasons that conor mentioned being that he craves attention for his little club in a little league"

With regards to the various chairman conflict, honestly can't understand why everyone is complaining. I gave an opinion. Don't like it? Don't care. However, so we, as chairman, don't get a bad reputation, curb the language a touch. Dulls the reputation of football somewhat if we're all squabbling like a bunch of 6 year olds"
