This looks like more than enough to me. And anyone who is really interested in this can of course download the game and have a look themselves. How is the process for signing free transfers working. I know you have posted about it before but I am unsure of the rules for the free transfers.

I have just put a little reminder in my post with the pics on pal

Oh dang. Out of the Champions League and struggling against the smaller teams. We are still in 3rd though. :D

Oh dang. Out of the Champions League and struggling against the smaller teams. We are still in 3rd though. :D

As long as you make champions league you're ok, I think next season I will give my manager no budget and make 2-3 signings max so there is less disruption and we can hit the ground running ;)

off out to watch the world cup final I had a wierd dream last night that Argies won 2 nil messi scored first so stuck 2 quid on at 50-1 haha AV IT

theres no rush for transfers etc because it is looking like wednesday for the next update but I will of course let you all know

Another question about signing free transfers. Do we get to decide the length of the contract at all or not. There are some good experienced players available for free but I wouldnt want to give them a 4 or 5 year deal.

Walker Happy With Ajax Start!

Nathan Walker and Louis Van Gaal are enjoying their new reign as the partnership in charge of Dutch club Ajax. They qualified with relative ease in a difficult Champions league group that features the likes of FCP and Schalke. They also sit 3 points clear at the top of the table.

Walker had this to say:

"I couldn't be happier with the start that we've had here, Louis has got the team playing some fantastic football, we are scoring goals for fun, if we can strengthen at the back then we will truly be a force to be reckoned with. The signings that we made have been fantastic notably, current club top scorer James Rodriguez and Kevin Strootman has been an absolute genius in the centre of midfield, his signing was an absolute masterstroke on Louis behalf. Yes we are looking for a few players, we know who we want and how much we're willing to pay, should these players become available at that price then fresh faces will be announced."

This is Ramon Sanchez from Marca, and i'm interviewing Kevin Berg from Real Betis:

-Why has nobody seen you before?
-I have been on vacation.
-How do you feel about this season?
-We have been playing really good and surprised the whole football-world!
-I agree, but how has Betis played so well this season?
- I think the manager has done some great transfers this season, and the tactic has been really successful.
-What are your long-term plans for the future of the club?
-I want Betis to be a club where players can develop and one of the most famous clubs in the world!
-And your short-term plans?
- This year we want a trophy, like Copa del Rey but we are hoping for the League.
If Champions League isn't won buy 2020 i'm selling the club.
-Well, thanks for the interview!
- No problem!

Positive Start For Mourinho

A good start for Jose Mourinho has seen Newcastle propel up the league to seventh place only one point off fourth placed Everton. 11 wins in total out of a possible 16 has proven how one man can turn around a club in an instance. We begin with Jake Robinson's review of the last few months "Let me just firstly say how proud of Jose, he has turned this club into a winning club and if we can keep up this type of form, we can be a real contender for Champions League Qualification"

Newcastle 4-0 Hull

A brilliant start under Jose's regime as we ran victorious by 4 goals to nil, Moussa Sissoko who actually played extremely poor bagged a hat trick and Facundo Ferreyra got one goal. Special mentions go to the back five who have been consistent throughout the season so far

Norwich 3-1 Newcastle

A disappointing result for us as we really should be winning these games, Diego Costa grabs the only goal for us, if it wasn't for Manuel Neuer though the result would've been a whole lot worse.

Sunderland 1-2 Newcastle

DELIGHTED! Especially for the magnificent Newcastle fans who sang their hearts out all game as beat our most fierce rivals, Andriy Yarmolenko and Diego Costa grab the goals.

Capital One Cup 4th Round

West Ham 1-2aet Newcastle

West Ham battled but couldn't handle the superior powers of Newcastle and especially Diego Costa as he scores a brace to send us to the Quarter Final in the cup!

Newcastle 1-0 Swansea

Our first home game in 3 games has seen us battle for a tight 1-0 win and I am absolutely delighted we managed to keep out a very attacking Swansea side. Andriy Yarmolenko scores the only goal of the game.

Newcastle 2-1 Liverpool

A good win against a good side, see's us beat Liverpool and controlled the likes of Suarez very well. Diego Costa and Andriy Yarmolenko get's the goals.

Chelsea 1-1 Newcastle

Jose Mourinho comes up against his former club and get's us a very decent point which I am delighted in. Chelsea posed a serious threat against our defence throughout the game and our defence managed it very well Angelo Ogbonna scored a very well executed header.

Newcastle 2-1 Tottenham

Our trio of difficult games ends against Tottenham and we run out 2-1 winners, Diego Costa and Moussa Sissoko grabs the goals.

West Brom 1-0 Newcastle

When we have been performing so well against the big clubs you wonder why we lose to teams like West Brom, it was a hugely disapointing defeat and I told the players this cannot happen again.

Newcastle 3-0 Man City

This is why football is the greatest sport on the planet, one day you lose to West Brom and then beat Man City three goals to nil, unbelievable. Julian Draxler, Diego Costa and Andriy Yarmolenko got the goals

Cardiff 2-1 Newcastle

Wow, we need to stop dropping points against small clubs we are Newcastle, a massive club. Cardiff, they are not. Leon Goretzka scored.

Capital One Cup QTR Final

Newcastle 4-0 Derby

A big result sends us to the semi final where we will face Swansea, Luuk De Jong, Julian Draxler and Moussa Sissoko scored, De Jong scored 2.

Newcastle 1-1 Crystal Palace

A disappointing draw but a point is better than none, Diego Costa scores the goal.

West Ham 0-2 Newcastle

We beat West Ham again but it only takes 90 minutes this time, very glad we kept a clean sheet and our defence has been a rock for the majority of the season Isco and Diego Costa scores.

Newcastle 2-1 Stoke

A win against a battling Stoke side see's us claim another three points, unusual goal source Cheik Tiote who is majorly linked to Celta Vigo recently and Luuk De Jong scores.

Southampton 0-1 Newcastle

A good win against a strong Southampton side and I am delighted to end the year on a high, Julian Draxler sent the fans to raptures as we move one point off a Champions League spot.

Manager Performance:

He has been brilliant this month and has brought us with a real good chance of going into Europe if we keep up our good form.

Player of the Months

Andriy Yarmolenko

A magnificent performance has seen him score goals and create goals consistently. We have also seen him consistently beat his men and wows the fans week in week out.

If I missed anything, I apologise been watching World Cup Final and ordering pizza whilst doing this. Must show some commitment aye :P

Would like to inform all owners to take a very careful look at the players you have signed, and look at contracts to make sure they don't have extremely cheap release clauses (unless you want one in a players contract) may leave a sour taste in your mouth if you lose your best player for peanuts

Due to people Inboxing me about rules regarding transfers I will repost them here and be a bit clearer about them.

Transfers per season between chairman are unlimited

transfer between chairman and AI controlled clubs are 3 21 and under players and 5 22 and over players this is per season and resets every summer

the submission of offers for free agents do not count towards your 8 combined transfers for the season, you may submit offers to me for up to a maximum of two free agents and whoever offers the highest wage signs the players you may only submit 1 offer per player. You have the duration of this transfer window to make offers for free agents so choose wisely.

The transfer window ends at 10 pm BST on Tuesday this includes readjusting of budgets for your managers in the coming windows also. This is to give me time to make sure the Database is correct for an update on wednesday.

A couple of other things,

I have been made aware of minimum release clauses when I am transfering players, I will speak to borne and Disclaimer to see if you can delete them because I cannot figure it out in FMRte for the meantime I will set them to 1.5 billion. This only stands for players you have signed not players already at your club or signed by the AI. I am not going to lie there has been over 100 players transferred in fact probably closer to 150 so I won't be checking each individual one so just let me know if a player at your club that was one of your transfers has a Minimum fee release clause and I will set it to 1.5 billion That is the only fix I can think of right now.

Now for something a bit more interesting, If all the teams still involved in the champions league want me to I will post a round by round update of what is happening but I do not want to detract from your press releases so if you do not want it I will not do it, May consider posting some highlights too but I am not 100 percent on this depends on the time sync but let me know visitor message or inbox message will suffice. If I do Highlights it will be just goals, I currently have the youtube login problem though within FM however I can still make a movie and post it up on youtubes either through FRAP's or the Moviemaker in FM but I will need to check quality. Also if anyone knows the fix for the youtube login feel free to share.

Sorry for the essay

Much Love

Dale

I would just transfer them back and refund the other club due to the nature of the AI in FM this would not happen till the summer window anyway, due to it being an oversight by me. But I have just posted about it so check it out.

Like the idea about goals, I was gonna do something like that for my last Newcastle update and check whether any of my goals was in goal of the month or not but didn't have time

Random person on the street approaches Pikkpoiss.
Random person asks:"Yo, mister Presidente. Wazzaaap!!! So, how things going for your new club?"
Mr. President:"Thank you for that question. It is a really good question."
Random dude:"Yo, cut the ****. Just answer the mans question."
Pikkpoiss:"You don't tell me what to do. Only my mother can tell me what to do. I'm telling you how things are going because I want to, not because you told me to tell you. Di Biagio has been probably the best signing I have ever made. He has gotten out the maximum from Rodrigo Palacio with him being the top scorer in my club and second in the league. Sadly he is currently out with a broken shoulder. He will return to the pitch in about 2 weeks, maybe less. ter Stegen also has made a good first season with only conceding 17 goals in 17 games. He also has only (Mourinho's fault) 9 clean sheets (best in the league). But I just can't hide my admiration torwards Luigi. In his first game, he drew against Juventus. Of course he lost to our fierce rivals AC Milan, but I forgive him that, cause he has only been here for 3 months. By the way, you random people are awesome. Oh, and Newcastle's losses to Cardiff and WBA are common among losers (Mou). As we all saw, Jose can't make it in the big leagues (Italy and somewhat Spain)."

It has been revealed this afternoon that Luis Enrique has been sacked as manager this afternoon and that club chairman Dale Henderson has swiftly moved to appoint Arsene Wenger as his Successor and the club has released the following statement.

"It is our sad duty to inform the fans that Luis Enrique has been relieved of his duties, although the club has been playing some good football in recent weeks and had some decent results we have decided to make this decision based upon the balance of the squad and the transfer decision's that have been made.

Our Chairman Dale Henderson was analysing who was signed and who was registered in the first team squad and as well as splashing out 12 million on William Carvalho and him not being registered there was no less than 7 summer signings not registered in the first team squad totalling a hefty 27 million in fees spent by the club. We do not understand why Enrique would sign established pros then not register them in the squad.

Also it has been at the displeasure of the chairman that Enrique does not seem prepared to give the talented youngsters at the squad a chance like De Vrij and Carvalho and also his refusal to budge from a 4-3-3 formation have culminated in the chairman taking this decision. However we ask the fans not to lament we have appointed Arsene Wenger and firmly believe he will lead us to glory we told him we could make him a longer coat and that was enough to make him jump ship from the Arsenal.

It is rumoured that Wengers deal at Celta will be for 4 years on wages reported to be around 150k per week, He has currently led Arsenal to second place in the Premier League and it his work with youth players that is rumoured to have made Henderson make this decision. It remains to be seen how this will affect the team morale but he will have to hit the ground running with league leaders Real Madrid up next."

In a separate deal Zinedine Zidane will also move to Celta's assistant boss with Wenger said to be grooming him to take over the first team within the next 5 years. Celta have also announced an upgrade in their facilities this was said to be another factor in Wenger's decision to ditch the Gunners, it is reported that a brand new state of the art training and youth complex Celta also upgraded their corporate boxes and facilities for sponsors which where said to be none existent with a reported 30 million alone spent on upgrading the facilities within the stadium. The training complex was said to have cost over 20 million this money came out of the chairman's pocket but has been slightly offset by the release of 15 first team players.

Robinson Praises Wenger Appointment

Celta Vigo have recently departed with manager Luis Enrique and swiftly acted to find replacement Arsene Wenger. Jake Robinson felt that the appointment was brilliant for the club for short term but lacks long term vision "Arsene Wenger is one of the best managers in the world and for Celta to get him is absolutely phenomenal and shows the ambition shown by Mr Henderson. He will bring success over maybe a one or two year period but for the long term the appointment will not work, I give him two years top before I believe he will retire, but Dale knows what he is doing so I am sure he has a contingency plan"

He was also asked about the Inter owner and his plan to continue to wind up Mourinho and Newcastle "This needs to stop now, he needs to apologise or I will look to take legal action. His comments are a disgrace and is making the staff feel uncomfortable, he is upset. I see that he is upset he had to settle for a team like Inter when there are bigger teams like AC Milan, I do feel sorry for him to have such low standards, but that's not my place to say, maybe he enjoys being the little team in the league"

I will never apologize to such an abomination like Mou. He is a good person in life, but as a Manager he is a pain in the ***. He loses to some Lithuanian club and expects to keep his job.

As for Newcastle owner I have this to say: My club is small? His club won some titles a 100 years ago and now it's a big club? My club has won title in the past, in the current time and will win in the future. My club is bigger that Real Madrid and Barcelona put together. They might have had Puškas and Enrique, but I have a team. A great team.
