In what must look like a revolving door at Everton, 5 players have been told they are no longer needed at the club and have been put up for sale. Those players that have been listed are:

Sylvain Distin - 500k
Leon Osman - 500k
Matias Fernandez - 5 Million
Aiden McGeady - 7.5 Million
Darron Gibson - 7.5 Million

This is what chairman Gonzalo Flores had to say.

"These players are no longer needed at the club and it is in our best interest to move them on and look towards the future. I believe the asking fee's I have set are realistic but of course I am always open for a discussion if another chairman feels as though these fee's are slightly out of their range."

Well there we have it, another move from Everton as they look to push forward and cling on to their top 4 position in a race that is sure to heat up as the season goes on.

Southampton complete 4 major signings!

Once he took over Mr Bond always promised the fans that he would provide all his money to create the best team possible. Well he has lived up to his word! Southampton today have announced the signings of 4 new players to join their ranks immediately in the January window. They include German international Gundogan, Spanish left back Juan Bernat, Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne and center back Phil Jones!

Gundogan at press conference

The signings show Mr Bond's dedication to the club after a set of disappointing results for Sothampton. The total cost is rumored to be around over 100m with the most expensive being Gundogan for a fee around 49m.
The fee's are ofcourse offset by the sale of Victor Wanyama to Anderlecht for 45m after a run of average performances for the club.

Walker Works Wonders!!

afc_ajax__ajax_wallpapers_tiMfTuPx.sized.jpg

Nathan Walker and Louis Van Gaal have obviously been busy behind the scenes at Ajax, they have agreed deals for four new players to join the club.

First off we have the signing of 24 year old Belgium centre half Toby Alderweireld who signs for a rumoured fee of £9.5m.

"Toby can play wherever I want him to in the back four, as well as holding in the midfield if we really need him to. A player with this sort of versatility is invaluable to a team like us, that along with his undoubted ability made this signing an easy one for us"

Secondly we have German stopper Ron-Robert Zieler who joins from Hannover for £5m

"We already have a great goalkeeper in Cillissen, Ron will push Cillissen to fulfil his potential as well as providing great backup when its needed. We tried to sign him in summer but unfortunately it fell through due to not being able to agree a fee with Hannover, we are delighted to have finally got out man."

Next up is Nemanja Matic, he joins from London club Chelsea for just over £10m.

"Matic is a fantastic player, he will provide the solidarity in the centre that will then allow the others playing in midfield along with him the freedom to attack freely. He is a player that will benefit us both in defence and in attack, this was a player who we could not pass up on."

Finally we have young Dutch attacker Adam Maher who joins from fellow Dutch side PSV for £9.5m.

"This is the signing me and Louis are most excited about, Louis and Adam worked together in the Holland set up and so know each other very well. The flair and unpredictability that Adam brings to the game in the attacking third will only make us even more dangerous when we go forward. As well as this he is only 20 he still hasn't fulfilled his full potential, with the help of our fantastic staff we will help him to do this."

This leaves Ajax with a total outlay of around £34m this transfer window. These were Walkers final words:

"We are delighted to have signed the players we have, I said before we had players in mind and we got exactly who we wanted. As a club we couldn't be happier with how this window has gone. There will not be any more transfers until summer. Our business here is done."

bornexplorer88, "We trust in Conte"

"I have to say that I remain confident for the Serie A title, despite Inter being close on our tail. The fact remains that we have only lost two games all season. We are still unbeaten in the Champions League, collecting six wins out of a possible six. BRING ON BAYERN!! I have made funds available to Antonio and I expect him to be looking to strengthen the midfield and the full backs, but we trust in Conte, and we hate to repeat ourselves but Serie A is our league this year!"

Transfer List
Federico Peluso (left back) - £2m
Martin Caceres (centre back) - £8m
Kwadwo Asamoah (midfield utility, prefers left side) - £ 25m
Claudio Marchisio (central midfield) - £28m
Simone Padoin (right midfield) - £2m
Sebastian Giovinco (attacking midfielder, apparently prefers ST, nowadays) - £20m (SOLD AS P/Ex)
Mirko Vucinic (striker) - £7m (deal pending FA confirmation)
Ciro Immobile (striker) - £5m for 50% due to co-ownership deal (have to contact epic for price of the other 50%) (SOLD)
Mando Gabbiandiani (striker) - £5m for 50% due to co-ownership deal (epic confirmed price for other 50% - £7.4m)

PSG continues strides forward!!

Sky Sports: "We caught up with PSG owner Matt Smith who had time to reflect on the first half of the season."

Matt Smith: "So far I have been impressed with the way in which Laudrup has lead the team. He has been getting the best out of our new signings. Most importantly Ibra seems happy and is banging in the goals; currently Ligue 1 top goal scorer!"

"We are currently fighting it out with Monaco for the title and I have been impressed with Laudrup bringing us past the group stages as we now prepare for a tough knock-out round against Barcelona!"

Sky Sports: "Can we expect any new signings in this window?"

Matt Smith: "Well we have already made moves to sign a young backup goalkeeper;

Jack Butland

View attachment 358515
Jack is a young keeper I've had experience with, having signed him when I was the Hull City owner. He is an extremely consistant goalkeeper with bags of ability. For £5Million, it was a no brainer.

Apart from signing Jack, I cant see us doing too much more in this window. We made enough singings in the Summer and the team could do with this season to gel.

Sky Sports: "Looks like you are making great progess. Any last comments on the season to date?"

Matt Smith: "Injury has played a key part in disrupting us dominating Ligue 1. With the likes of Varane, Silva and Marquinhos all being out injured at the same time for near two months; Varane was out for 5months. If it hadn't been for this and us having to play reserve defenders, I am confident we would have run away with the title by now."

Sky Sports: "Thanks for your time, Matt."

Distin 500k
Osman 500k
Matias Fernandez £5 Million
Arouna Kone £5 Million

Bolton wanderers unveil 'new' crest

New Bolton owner Dave has brought Bolton right in to the future, but stopped back in the past to reinstate a very old Bolton badge. He said "something had to replace the monstrosity we had previously, and I wanted to remember the history of the club when were winning the champions league in a few years"
"I'd also like to confirm some signings we made during last summer, as I've kept them under the radar until now, to stop current premier league big boys getting too worried about us."
Lahm arrives for a fee of 25m which truly is daylight robbery for such a world class player.
Dante will bring some much needed experience in our backline, and arrives at a cheap fee of 12m
griezman, who I guarantee will be class has joined for just 18m and was so impressed by our project he agreed a contract of 24k, in it for the money? I think not.
Arda turan will also add some great flair to break down defences and he'll arrive for 20m
javi Martinez will be the steel of the midfield and he has joined for 28m, which is a great deal for us.
And of course Manuel pellegrini will lead us into the next season, his passing football is exactly what I want us to be famous for, not the long ball and long throws from big Sam and jayjay okocha days.
This January well be looking for a striker, a young centre back with potential. A central midfielder so we can really dominate games rather than just relying on Martinez in the middle. We've had a few offers for Lahm already but I must say if anyone wants him they better be prepared to break the world record transfer fee. Thank you for your time and I'll see you next season in the premier league.

(Before anyone asks badge isn't really changing in game, just for purposes of the story in this thread)

Two in Two out

Real Betis have been busy with us recently as we have negotiated and accepted two deals. Firstly we have sold right back Matheiu Debuchy for 21m pound + Guiseppe Rossi and have also brought in centre back Jerome Boateng for 17m including Facundo Ferreyra who failed to adapt to the English life style.

We would also like to put up an advertisement stating we are looking for clubs that are looking to offload any right backs, to contact our owner Jake Robinson.

We have received some offers for some of our players. One of them is Crisetig. A young star. Just wanted to say that only the one, who makes the best offer will get him.

Just to let you guys know the transfer window closes tonight at 10pm and I need time to make decisions about my own transfers so I will not be accepting offers after 8pm today which will then give me time to sort out my own transfers.

In a surprise move, Schalke have sold Davide Santon for 8m and Giovinco. But because of the sell on fee, we get 6.8m and Newcastle get 1.2m.

"I'm gutted to sell Santon but we have got a good deal here because we have also got 20m rated Giovinco."
