I would like to apologize, if someone got scared with the last news. I just watched it and saw that those journalists do like to lie. I should have listened to my papa. Every time my mama was making spaghetti my papa told me "son, if you ever become famous and, when journalists and reporters want you to give an interview, don't do it. All they do is lie. Your mama used to be the queen of spaghetti, but then she gave an interview, where the reporters later equivocated her words and now she is nobody." Honestly, I do not know where they take these things.
Anyway, let's get to the football.

From July to August we had 5 friendlies. 1 match with a french, Greek and American clubs, and 2 games with 2 Spanish clubs.

The first game of the season we lost 0-2, but we came back with a bang for the second game. The 2nd match was against Palermo. First fifteen minutes were a thriller, a short thriller, with four goals being scored. Our new striker Andrea Cornelius, from the same country as the world known Bendtner (both are in my club, a big yessssssssss), started the scoring in the seventh minute. Opponents striker Guido scored an equalizer right after 3 minutes. And right as the opponents were just starting to think they can win the match our best defender, Eder Balanta, scored a header at 14th minute. Javier Pastore didn't leave it at that and scored right after Balanta, that's the 15th minute. So there were scored 4 goals in 15 minutes. That's a goal for every 3.75 minutes. Whatever Palermo manager said in the dressing room did not work as we scored 3 goals in just 6 minutes. Opponents Paulo Dybala scored Palermo's second goal of the match at 80th minute.

Third match we lost to Udinese, but in the Champions League we won Barcelona 1-0, thanks to Cornelius's goal. Barcelona played a vicious game with injuring our three best players - Rojo, Cornelius and Belfodil. Barca also received 4 yellows. The fourth yellow was the second one for Alex Song, who was sent off on 72nd minute.

We went on winning Verona and Lazio with one goal. Then we made a draw with Genoa. Going back to the continental stage, we beat BATE 3-0

Definitely our best player so far has been previous owner's last signing, no other than, Aaron Ramsey.

Atalanta Press Release - 1st Oct 2014

"As you can imagine, we're delighted that we are first in the league after the first 6. We beat the two other super clubs, Inter and Juve, in our first two, and really demonstrated our intent. Apart from a draw with Napoli, we've won every game, and the players are full of optimism that this form will continue.

In terms of our new signings, they have all bedded in well. In addition to the deals I brokered, Cesare has also done well in the market, bringing in Ibarbo amongst others, a top-notch player. Unfortunately, Rossi is out for 3 months, so will miss the game against Roma, and his old chairman, but we have other players that can step into the breach easily enough. Mattia Destro will be keen to score against the club he left to join us this summer.

Atalanta should be proud of their team and long may this form continue on."

(First off all guys sorry for my inactivity over the past few days, something happened IRL and I had to deal with that first off and so havent had time to check and update this.)

SSN - Hello Mr Walker, Welcome to SSN. You are here along with Van Gaal and Adriaanse, we believe you have some news for us?


Walker - Yes I do have some news, unfortunatly Luis has decided that he wants to resign from the Job as manager, I am obviously gutted about this, he is a fantastic manager who bought some great players and tactics to this club, I am sad to see him go but would like to wish him and the best in the future. The reason Co is here is now obvious, he is the manager I have decided to replace Luis with. I know him very well and so I am delighted to be able to put him in charge of my team.


SSN - Luis, why step down now??


Van Gaal - I am sorry that I have had to do this, but last season I feel like i let my team and Nathan down by the way we finished and so I have stepped down the give the club a new focus, Co can provide this and I firmly believe he is the right man for the job.


SSN - So, Nath. Anything else you'd like to add?


Walker - Well since I'm here I might aswell give you some insight into out buissness this summer, we have signed:


Alvaro Morata for £19.5m, Zakkaria Bakkali for £3.5m, Sam Bryam for £2m, Gedion Zelalem for £1m and Jose Antonio Reyes for £3.5m.


We are delighted to announce these as players at the club, we believe that with the mix of experience we have the players to challenge this year and in the future.

Important Message

Hey all. As you are all aware it has been rather quiet the last day or so on the thread and I have offered to Epic Terrorist that I help with doing one update a week to keep things flowing. He has replied to me and has said that he has too much work and is unsure whether he can carry on. So he has offered that from now on that I do updates and do the up and coming transfer window.

Now whether this is permanent or not I do not know but I am sure for now I will be doing this for the short term. I want to make this clear, I'm not an **** and will not be claiming this game is now mine. This game will be Epic's and will be till it ends. He created this game, he made the rules and he made it a success so none of this is my game.

I'm a nice friendly guy (my personality is not the same as my chairman haha) and will always be welcoming and friendly to any messages in the future and any opinions you have of this. I will let you know when the next update will be when Epic next gets in touch with me and that will also be when the transfer window opens.

ALL RULES WILL BE THE SAME (If I am allowed to continue the game)

I will not be altering the rules, the current format has been a success and I am not going to be ripping apart Epic's game.

If I do continue this will be my first attempt of running a game, so be easy with me whilst I get used to things. If anyone who has run games before would like to offer advice that would be great.


Now since I haven't probably seen every person update especially not regularly. I don't know all human owned clubs. I will look on FM as I believe Epic would have subscribed to them all. But so I know who is who would you be kind enough to post below the teams you own, thanks. Sorry for being awkward, it will just be easy for me as I will be able to jot things down on a spreadsheet or something.

I will be attempting to do two updates a week, so maybe every 3-4 days. I am nearly always available on my phone using tapatalk, so any requests I can put it down on notes and then put it in on the save game when I get on my laptop (I am always on my laptop at night so most updates will be at night time, I hope that is not a problem.

Sorry for blathering on, I just wanted to say some things. Anyway I hope you all still carry on and give me a go. I have been passionate to help for a while I'm sure Epic could agree haha, so I would appreciate if I was given a chance. Anyway thanks for listening :D

Right I've looked at subscriptions and have looked at every owner I have now created a profile for everyone on excel and will now release following bank balances and teams. for the clubs or usernames that are not mentioned please mention what team you so I know which user owns which club and so I can create a profile for you on excel. Ps the profile is nothing special it is for me so I can keep upto date on finances and transfers etc.

Anderlecht here, and good luck running it, Also could you put up a save on early Feb aswell so we can do an after Jan transfers update, mainly so we don't miss anyone the manager signed.

Thank you, nothing is confirmed fully yet until Epic posts an update on what is happening, I have been told either tomorrow night or Sunday. Anyway I'll add you onto Excel and your balance will be on there in the next ten minutes
 
If I do get permission to do updates from I will:

JUST for this up and coming January will allow the eight transfers to be reset (three 21 or under and five 22 and over) simply because, I would prefer not too read through everybody's transfers and write down every chairman transfer. Unless someone comes up with a better more efficient idea.

For the update after January I will release two saves. One is in February where you can see the manager's signings and maybe write something about it and will then release an update going to around March/April (Although I thought something happened like this last January)
 
Pretty much what leedsunitedandproud said, I'm way to busy with work I try to answer pm's when I am on my break but then my break is just consumed by sorting this game out which ain't great and half the time. I do not even get to answer PMs not because I am ignorant I see them but then I forgot and then because of time constraints and just don't get back round to doing them.

You have probably all noticed I've not even done a Celta update either, so what is going to happen is I am going to simulate the game till 1st of jan at some point this weekend because I really enjoy running the game and want to do one more update then as of that save going up it's down to leedsunitedandproud. He will announce when the transfer window is open closes etc and everything goes through him, but don't inundate him with requests straight away wait till he says he is ready for the window to open. I may drop out the game altogether I am not sure yet. And it's nice of leedsunitedandproud to say it's my game etc but it's you guys who make it what it is I just press the continue button ;)

Top man, very much appreciated that you are willing to help out with the save. If you need any help with anything, transfer requests or whatever I am free most of the time to help out :)

Hopefully epic will have some free time in the future to take back control :) But its good that we are keeping the game rolling.

Thanks mate and if I ever need a hand I will do, hope he can, I'm happy whether I'm doing it permanently or temporarily. Although it looks like he may be dropping out as he has so little time, which ain't good but real life comes first
