Welcome to this latest instalment of the European Update where we will be looking how a number of teams are doing up until January.

Ajax - Adriaanse and co have lead Ajax to third so far and are well in the mix for the title as three teams fight for 1st place. Daley Blind is having a blinder this season topping the avg rating charts.

AS Roma - A disappointing season, Joachim Low sacked after just three months in charge, will new owner Jake Robinson be able to bring in new additions to help them propel up the league.

Atalanta - Atalanta have been very impressive this season and are in a Champions League spot, is this good enough for the new owner or does he demand more?

Bolton - They have really returned in style to the Premier League and look set to challenge for the title amongst 6/7 other clubs. Could the Premier League crown be Bolton's this season?

Cardiff - Is it what we expect of Cardiff? Mid table as it stands and they don't look like they will be relegated but also doesn't look like they will climb up the league.

Everton - Looks unlikely they will beat their 5th place finish this season and has been largely disappointing for the club. 12th place as it stands and is Roberto Martinez job at risk?

Schalke - Some way off 1st place but could reach the Champions League spot again this season as they sit in 4th place, is this enough for owner Lewie Roberts or is he annoyed by the clubs position.

Porto - Invincible's Porto look set to win the league this year 11 points clear at the top and looks unlikely that they will be stopped this year. A successful campaign so far.

Hull - A good season so far for Hull see's them high mid table and could challenge for a Europa spot and could even make the Champions League if they keep up their good form.

Juventus - Compared to last season this may not be as the Juventus owner hoped for as they sit some way off 1st place but still hope to make the Champions League.

PSG - They could be beat to the title by underdogs Lorient this year as they are four points off from 1st place but look set to improve as Roma's Florenzi has joined for 29m and have made a bid for one of the best young talents in Europe.

Celta - Rumours circulating aroung the club as the owner may have to step down for unknown circumstances. Other than that it has been a good season so far for Celta and are in the Champions League.

Real Betis - Same as Celta a good season so far in the BBVA and look set for Champions League football again next year in 3rd place.

Anderlecht - The Belgian side are clear by 3 points in 1st place, as well as now favourites to win the league will they be able to keep hold of their best players

Benfica - If they was aiming for the title this year they will be very disappointed as they find themselves 11 points off Porto in 3rd place, Champions League must be their main target for the rest of the season.

Southampton - Messi, Messi and more Messi. This man is the best player in the world as he has lead the Saints to 1st place this far and look set to be top goalscorer with 15 goals.

1860 Munchen - their 1st season back has been successful to date in 5th place, they are some way off of being the best club in the city but have made major improvements over the last 2 years.

Stuttgart - Defied all the odds this season and have been the dark horses in the German league 1st place for Stuttgart and their owner must be delighted with how they are performing this year, Champions League football looks a definite this season if they weren't to win the league this year.

Jake annoyed with Low sacking

Welcome to Roma's latest update of the season with special guest Jake Robinson. Now Jake it's fair to say it's been a disappointing season for Roma, what is your thoughts?

Well, I don't know. The league position is poor but from the beginning of October we have only lost two games, and we have won our fair share so I am disappointed by that, but we are in a very strong league so just losing one game may see us slip rapidly down the table we need to be consistent.

What do you think when you look at our fixtures?

I think that we pick up points against the teams that we expect too like for example we beat teams like Pescara comfortably by two goals to nil but then we struggle against the big boys like Juventus where we drew or Inter where we lost 2-1. It is not good enough and that is where we struggle but if we had some consistency I believe we'd be higher up.

How do you feel about the sacking of Joachim Low?

I am upset that the board felt to get rid of him without my word so that has upset me. I also thought we weren't doing too bad so it is bitterly disappointing. But the good news is we hire a very proven coach in Marcelo Bielsa where he joined us from Bayern Munich so I look forward to seeing him in action with the boys.

So we're still in Europe and in the Italian Cup, other than the league things are going well you must say?

Yes, we have played extremely well in the Europa this year, we had very easy games against the likes of Legia which gave us a hand if I am being honest. The fans must've enjoyed the 3-0 and the 4-0 none the less. So yes we now have Dynamo Kyiv in the first knockout round.

In the Italian Cup we beat a very strong Atalanta side 4-2 to reach the Quarter finals which is very pleasing.

So what is your plans in the transfer market and for the rest of the season?

Well I'd like to announce that we have signed seven players, we have brought in James Rodriguez from Ajax for 56m for a world class player, we have also brought in Robert Lewandowski from Schalke for 73m. It is a lot of money but he is a world class forward which we need in this team. The list continues we got Bony from Man City, he will bring something different to the side he has strength, pace and is a good finisher, he will provide good back up to Lewandowski. Others to join are: Koke, Otamendi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Bernd Leno.

I believe these additions will add something that this team have missed and also brings youth into the team to replace out going legends. For my expectations? This season I just want to be safe and reach a comfortable top half/mid table finish and from next season I really want to see us fight for glory on all fronts.

Still in January, but just an upload just so you can see if I have missed anything out so far, or done something wrong to your club and I'm sorry it's now the 11th of Jan, my football manager wasn't working properly then had a fit and fast forwarded like a week so that's why that has happened sorry

Hope to see more updates over next couple of days :( the save link did work didn't it for the first time and I didn't fail did I?

Hi if the majority think this will be unfair I will scrap the idea

If you enquire about a player you then have a 12 hour time window to try and buy the player, just because I've seen about four people have enquired for the same players as others have.

This is just so that if you run out of time the other person has a chance of signing the player instead of me waiting like a day or two for a reply

Note: this hasn't happened yet so don't think I'm accusing any person of anything

Please can I welcome Joe Hart and Thomas Muller to Schalke. Also, we say bye to Robert Lewandowski who goes to Roma for 72m. Hart is a class keeper and will be our 1st team keeper and Muller is a class Striker and a beast.
