Horrendous. That was the first word out of the mouth of new Cardiff owner Akinfenwa when asked about his side's recent form and 13th position in the League table.
"Definitely unacceptable. I have put in heavy investment into the club and definitely expect better than this from the players and especially the manager. Steve Clarke had better watch out and buck up before i give him the boot." An incensed Akinfenwa said.
However, the outspoken owner does not seem to have slowed down in his investments in the club, announcing the signing of not one, not two, but 3 players!
Player 1: Marco Verratti

Price: 18 million
Another established midfielder to add to the ranks

Player 2: Rodrigo Gomez

Price: 16 million
Argentinian wonderkid will add more creativity to our attack and hopefully help supply the next signing...

Player 3: Gabriel Barbosa

Price: Undisclosed
The marquee signing of the season. The young prolific striker who can also play at attacking mid will partner Troy Deeney to strike for Cardiff.

Gabriel Barbosa should be my player, I have mentioned this already! He was a TRN player and was supposed to sign for me in august! Hence why his PA is 200, I used my perk from last season on him as he was joining on a pre-agreed deal!

Hull have had a spectacular first half of the season! The three summer editions have settled in very well. Twenty million pound man Ricardo Rodriguez has flourished so far! Hull currently sit six points off league leaders Southampton in 4th. Steve Bruce continues to improve Hull all the time, as his side have improved every season under his management so far. Hull's chairman who has recently taken over has expressed how delighted he is with both the team and the manager.

Now that we are half way through the season that means the January transfer window opens. Craig Smith didn't have much time after taking over at Hull to spend huge in the summer, although he did spend a decent amount. This January transfer window he has already brought in 4 men he believes will lead the team to further glories and to help guide his team into a phenomenal top four finish.

Hull have recruited themselves a new goal keeper who has potential to be one of the best. Maxym Koval arrives from Dynamo Kiev for just under twenty five million pounds.

Another new Hull recruit is a man who will have no trouble finding the net, Salomon Rondon arrives for just over twenty five million pounds. He's already netted a double on his Hull debut so Premier League defenders will be scared already.

Signing number three is a very impressive recruitment for Hull a man that will certainly be a valuable first team member, despite his regularity to pick up injuries. Hull will be hoping their new man can remain fit to play a big part in the second half of the season after signing from Arsenal for around eight million pounds.

My final signing is definitely my favourite and most exciting, expecting big things from him after bringing him in from Chelsea for one hundred million! Hull fans must be very excited about this one even more so after a debut goal in the FA cup tie against Peterborough.

"We are extremely excited to finalise these deals and have these players at the club, we want to keep moving forward and fantastic players such as these does that." - Craig Smith

"I would also not like to see Shane Long's fantastic form this season go un-noticed and I'd like to say how pleased I am with him, he's had a remarkable season so far and has stood out. He's our top scorer and we bring in Rondon not to push him out but to partner Shane. They have the potential to be phenomenal together." - Craig Smith

Finally Hull recently brought in another new signing, this player being a centre back as club chairman Craig Smith believed this to be the weakened area. He has also said it is likely to be their final business this window and depending on how the rest of the season goes they may or may not strengthen in the summer.

Hull rob yet another player from a London club this window with the edition of Gary Cahill for just under twenty million pounds. Exciting second half of the season ahead for Hull with some great players brought in.

Atalanta Statement, 11th January 2015

Yet again, we write from a position of confidence. 2nd in the league at the halfway stage is impressive, especially as we are currently leading the superclubs. However, we are naturally disappointed that we lost to Roma in the cup, we really should be beating them.

We are looking to bring more players into the club, especially after a spate of injuries has hit the club. We're disappointed that Holger Badstuber is injured, however, our extensive networks have identified two targets, so keep an eye on further developments.

In the meantime, we are delighted to announce three new players. John Obi Mikel joins us from Chelsea, and will help to shore up our midfield. In addition, we have Nathaniel Clyne joining us from Newcastle, alongside a record breaker.

Many of you may remember my comments about Luke Shaw's money spinning move to Newcastle. Six months on, we are delighted to announce that we have confirmed his signing, and that Newcastle have taken a £35m hit on the player. I never said that the boy lacked talent, merely that he didn't warrant that price. We found an agreeable price, and Luke is delighted to join our project at Atalanta.

We have one goal currently. To win the league. We have put ourselves in the position where we can do this, so we need to follow through. We have two transfers lined up, possibly to be lodged tonight, if the bids are deemed viable.

We thank you, the fans for sticking with us, and for being part of this incredible journey.

Mr G Fish,
Atalanta Chairman

What about prizes for Europa League? I'm not in it I'm just curious about it.

Seems unfair

I didn't see that, that was from epic. I guess he thought no one would sign messi

Not to be an **** but let's say there's a limit where a player can only have their wages reduced once. For example if messi won it this year I will reduce his wages but if he wins it the next year I will not. It'll just get to the point where he's getting £0 as he would probably win it over and over again haha

So what if he won three in a row? You could give it on alternate years.

Btw Messi won it this year too :P

I'll think of something for this year it will be 50% wage reduction, for next season I may do money bonueses

Hey could someone tell me whether there is a limit on free transfers someone can do? Did epic do something like that?

Update will be up probably after midnight and transfer window shuts at 11:59 tonight BST
