I have decided to go for a journeyman save, working my way up as a manager and hopefully ending up as a Champions League winner.
These are the leagues that I have loaded...
View attachment 19427I have loaded an awful lot especially if you take into account how slow and bad my laptop is! I would have like to include the Turkish and Portuguese leagues however like I said my laptop is slow as it is. I can however add them in and replace them with smaller nations as we hopefully progress through the leagues.

Lets meet the gaffer...
View attachment 19426Unfortunately I have no coaching badges or any footballing ability that goes past local Sunday league football therefore I will be starting with these appalling stats and aiming to improve throughout the years.

The date is 3rd June 2019. A whole season has passed with only one job interview occurring which was with Stranraer and ended with rejection. However I have landed myself a job...

View attachment 19319Annan Athletic

View attachment 19316Here is the Galabank, the home of Annan Athletic. 2,000 fans can pack into this stadium which includes 500 seats. I will be kickstarting my career as a football manager in the Scottish 4th tier of football.
Lets have a look at how they got on last season...View attachment 19318A decent 8th placed finish considering the strength of Clyde, Peterhead and Edinburgh City. Queens Park and Albion Rovers had a stinker of a season. Annan did finish 6 points off of 4th place Cowdenbeath so there's potential for a play off push this season.

Now lets have a look at the squad...

View attachment 19317With several contracts expiring, the squad is short of numbers! Aidan Smith looks the star man however a lit of signings are needed as we could hardly field a squad as it stands!

Best get to work!

Transfers, Pres-eason and Betfred Cup

The first thing I did as manager was see the chairman and get myself on a course to further develop my coaching abilities.
View attachment 19271The boards expectations came through and I don't think they are expecting much from me as a manager or the team!..
View attachment 19270
Lets have a look at the transfers I have made in my first pre-season as a manager...
View attachment 19254

View attachment 19269Jordan Millar - Some impressive attributes for a player at this level which is exactly why I splashed a massive £2,000 to bring him in from Montrose.

View attachment 19268Andy Munro - Some very impressive attributes for a central defender. Great heading and jumping ability as well as being brave and aggressive. Munro's weakness is clearly his pace and I don't like the fact he tries to play his way out of trouble with passing of 4!

View attachment 19266Mark Wardrope - We have brought in attacking midfielder Wardrope from Ayr United. He is quick and incredibly determined! He has average technical attributes but this will hopefully improve as he plays games and gets older/

View attachment 19265 Martin Clark - Another 16 year old comes in on loan from Dunfermline. A left back with fantastic tackling, marking, decision making and acceleration. The only concern of Clark is that he is small at 5ft 6 and has heading ability of 5.

View attachment 19264Kane Hester - A free following his release from Arbroath. He possess decent physical attributes and very impressive mental attributes making him an ideal player as a pressing forward. He also has decent finishing so can hopefully weigh in with several goals.

View attachment 19263Sean Dickson - A player with fantastic mental attributes and decent physical attributes however he has woeful physical attributes. I will be using him as a back up mainly as a central midfielder and in that role thankfully he will only predominantly need stamina which he has a massively high score of 5.

View attachment 19262Chris McLeish - A centre forward who signs following his release from Elgin City. He isn't physically very threatening however he is an allrounder with no real strengths or weaknesses to his game. I will primarily use him as a target man especially as at 6ft 4 weighing 102kg.

View attachment 19261Roddy Cameron - Our third 16 year old loan signing. He arrives from Raith Rovers and is an attacking midfielder with several impressive attributes. A great free kick taker with good passing, technique and decision making.

View attachment 19259Thomas Reilly - We brought Reilly in for £500! He is an allrounder with decent attributes across the board although he struggles with decision making and tackling. He will probably be a starter for me.

View attachment 19256
We started with 3 friendlies just to get the players fitness and match sharpness up and ready for the Betfred Cup. We lost to Dungannon before a win against Workington and a draw against Curzon Ashton.
Ayr United - We were without Wardrope due to him being on loan from Ayr. We gave a really good account of ourselves against Championship opposition.
East Sterlingshire - We came up against the weakest team in our group and thankfully came away with a win and 3 points. Owen Moxon scoring the winner.
Queen of the South - The hardest team in our group as they got promoted to the SPL last season and we gave as good as we got! We went a goal down before Smith equalised with a fine finish. Unfourtunately we couldn't hold out and they scored a winner via a header from a corner with 10 minutes left to play.
Stranraer - I was determined to beat them as they turned me down last season. We were fantastic and thoroughly deserved the win. Paddy Cameron scored a screamer to start the scoring before David Wilson scored with a cool calm penalty. Owen Moxon then rounded off the win against our league one opposition.

View attachment 19258We finished 3rd in our group on 6 points finishing above Stranraer and East Stirlingshire. We also finished on positive goal difference which I am thrilled about considering we played against 3 teams in higher divisions than us. Queen of the South qualified as the best placed runners up across the competition.

August

Halfway through the month, I made a new signing...
View attachment 19232Abdelkarim Belmokhtar - A French striker signs for £7,000 from Clyde. I was in desperate need for some fire power and I feel that he will fit the bill. He's quick with good finishing, technique, first touch, flair, composure and movement off the ball.

View attachment 19231Peterhead - I start my managerial career with a league defeat at home to title favourites Peterhead. We did go a goal down before Aidan Smith equalised however we couldn't hold out for an impressive draw as we fall to a 2-1 defeat.
Cowdenbeath - My first point comes away from home thanks to a fantastic strike from Thomas Reilly.
East Fife - Another difficult home game against recently relegated East Fife and they just had the cutting edge as they win 1-0.
Edinburgh City - An IRN-BRU Cup game against League One Edinburgh. They went 2-0 up and I thought that was it but the lads managed to dig deep and bag 2 goals via Smith and Reilly. It ended 2-2 and went to penalties where we eventually won 8-7!
Queens Park - A fantastic performance and win. Belmokhtar on his debut scored a brace either side of a Roddy Cameron goal.
Stenhousemuir - My most disappointing team performance so far as manager. We never got going and deserved to lose 2-0.
Elgin City - A fairly even game separated from a goal via a set piece as we lose back to back games without scoring.
Stirling - We finish the month with our first league home win! Aidan Smith bragged himself a brace, both being your typical poachers finish. We were fantastic and thoroughly deserved to round off a busy month with a win.

View attachment 19223We finish the month in 7th position on 7 points. We are 6 points ahead of Queen's Park who are bottom with 1 point. Considering the boards expectation is to avoid relegation we are off to a fine start. We are 5 points off of Elgin City who are in the last play off place. We also face welsh outfit Cefn Druids in the next round of the IRN-BRU Cup.

September

View attachment 19221Cefn Druids - We progress in the IRN-BRU Cup once again thanks to a goal from Belmokhtar against the welsh outfit.
Albion Rovers - A game we should've won however we settle for a point after an own goal from Scott Forrester.
Berwick Rangers - We fell behind to table toppers Berwick away from home however with 15 minutes left Mark Wardrope scored a penalty before Aidan Smith scored a 92nd minute winner to dramatically win the game for us!
Peterhead - We went a goal ahead thanks to a free kick from Roddy Cameron however after that they embarrassed us and it could've been more convincing than 4 goals to 1.

View attachment 19220We finish the month in 6th, 11 points from 10 games. We are now 8 points ahead of the relegation places and now 6 off of Peterhead in the last play off spots. I can't see us breaking into the play offs as the top 5 seem to be in a league of their own compared to the bottom 5. We will also face St Johnstone Reserves in the next round of the IRN-BRU Cup.

We also finish the month with the introduction of another new striker...

View attachment 19219Joao Victoria - A striker who was previously with Airdrie last season in the league above but only played 4 league games without scoring. I feel that he adds a bit more quality in the final third with good movement, technique and decision making. He should offer more competition than Hester and McLeish that have disappointed me so far this season.

October

I have completed my National C Coaching licenCe and as a result I am now studying for my National B licence. View attachment 19199
View attachment 19198Cowdenbeath - We kickstart the month with a win against Cowdenbeath and an absolute screamer by Aidan Smith which I am sure will be contender for goal of the season. Roddy Cameron also scored a screamer to seal the win.
St Johnstone Reserves - We went behind early on before another worldie this time by Thomas Reilly, a 20 yard volley which rocketed into the bottom corner. Unfourtunately we couldn't score any more goals and it went to penalties where we eventually lost 8-7.
Albion Rovers - Out of the IRN-BRU Cup but still in the Scottish cup thanks to goals from Andy Munro, his first for the club and Mark Wardrope who scored another long ranger, with 4 of our 5 goals this month being screamers.

View attachment 19194We finish the month where we started it, in 6th place. We grow the gap to Queens Park to 11 points and the gap to Peterhead is 6 points however they have a better goal difference of 12!

November

We have managed to tie down several first team players to another season. David Wilson, Aidan Smith, Abdulkarim Belmokhtar, Thomas Reilly have all agreed terms whilst taking a pay cut.Goalkeeper, Jordan Millar, also agreed to stay for another season however he agreed a £50 pay rise to now be our highest paid player on £200 a week.

Alongside the contract extensions, we have also agreed to take a new right back into the club when the window opens on the 1st of January...
View attachment 19149Callum Donaldson - After coming through the ranks at Hibernian, Donaldson has only played 5 games on loan at Berwick a few seasons ago. He comes in for the remainder of the season on a very cheap wage. He offers more going forward than current right back Sinnamon with crossing and passing of 10 and 9. He is also more solid defensively with tackling and concentration of 11 and positioning of 10. Like Clark at left back, his main weakness is his jumping and heading. I personally disagree with my scouts and coaches who have Sinnamon down as first choice.

View attachment 19148East Fife - 5 star performance! Belmokhtar hit a brace as did Roddy Cameron and Aidan Smith scored the other in an absolute rout!
Elgin City - We followed our incredible performance against East Fife with a defeat. We were 3-0 down at half time and despite our second half performance we gave ourselves too much work to do. Belmokhtar and Cameron with the goals.
Queens Park - A Roddy Cameron hat trick and an own goal sees off bottom of the league. Cameron was simply stunning and was in fine form.
Inverurie Locos - What a name, horrendous footballing team. We went ahead through Belmokhtar however they did peg us back to 1-1 before our class showed with goals from Belmokhtar again, Smith, Munro and Wardrope.
Stenhousemuir - What a game!! They took a 2-0 lead early on before I decided to focus the attacks through the middle and targeted one of their centre backs with constant pressure due to his low mental attributes. It worked wonders as we scored 2 before half time to make 2-2 through Cameron and Swinglehurst. They then took the lead twice before we managed to peg them back both times via a wonderful goal from Reilly and Smith with a poachers finish.

View attachment 19147We finish the month by moving up a place to 5th. We are now an impressive 15 points ahead of Queens Park. We also close the gap to the play offs to 3 points and after many many goals, we have a better goal difference than Berwick. We also have East Sterlingshire in the next round of the Scottish Cup.

View attachment 19146After an amazing month, there is no surprise that Roddy Cameron has won player of the month. 7 goals from 4 games with an average rating of 8.98! That's by far the best month I have seen from a player during my time playing FM. As a result of his incredible form, he has started to attract interest from several clubs including, Preston, Kilmarnock and Birmingham.

December

View attachment 19132Stirling - We went a goal down and my two strikers weren't on it so I made a double change and brought on Victoria and Hester and both bagged a goal each in the last 5 minutes of the game to seal 3 points.
Albion Rovers - A ridiculous free kick from Roddy Cameron set us on our way before Andy Munro and Belmokhtar scored to put the game out of sight.
Berwick - We went a goal down so I went 4-3-3 attacking with 20 minutes remaining and it worked wonders as Swinglehurst scored from a corner and then in the 92nd minute Sinnamon swept a low ball across the goal which was turned into his own net by Ross Graham to seal a 2-1 win for us!
Peterhead - A shocking first half performance saw us go in at the break 2-0 down. I switched to a 5-3-2 system with wing backs and we were much improved. Belmohktar scored and we tried to score the equaliser but came up short in the end.

View attachment 19123 We remain 5th in the table. We are now 1 point off of Berwick who are in the last spot of the play offs however we have a better goal difference of 5. Remarkably we are only 6 points off of Peterhead at the top of the table so it is all to play for in the remaining months of the season.

January

We have one addition to the side and two departures. Substitute goalkeeper Robbie Minto, joined Preston Athletic on a free transfer. Also departing on a free transfer was left back, Jack Brannan, who joined Cove Rangers. Neither featured under my management however it now only leaves Martin Clark as our only natural left back and he is on loan. Now for the new signing...View attachment 19104Jonathan Reid - An 18 year old central midfielder joins on a free from Queens Park. He is fairly small but is an all rounder with decent attributes across the board. He has fantastic vision, decision making and determination, I also like the fact he dictates the tempo and he will hopefully improve throughout his time with us.

We were dealt a massive blow at the start of January aswell…
View attachment 19103We would be without our best, most in form player for the next 2 months. Roddy Cameron damaged his knee cartilage and will be a great miss!

View attachment 19102East Fife - This was a very close game and both teams were really going for the three points. We went behind twice before coming back on level terms twice through Belmokhtar and Wilson. They then scored a 93rd minute winner, gutted!
Cowdenbeath - The worst first half performance I have seen since my time here as manager. They were better than us all over the pitch and despite a better second half we thoroughly deserved to lose this game.
Queens Park - Another sloppy slow first half cost us again! We created many chances however couldn't break down their fantastic defence as we fall to yet another disappointing loss.
East Stirlingshire - Back to winning ways in the Scottish 4th round against non league opposition, we were very comfortable for our win and Belmokhtar bagged himself a brace.
Elgin City - Finally back to winning ways in the league. Reid made his debut and played ok. Swinglehurst scored a header from a Clark corner and Reilly scored his 4th of the season to cement the 3 points for us.

View attachment 19101A really disappointing month where we only gain 3 points in the league from a possible 12 sees us fall to 6th place. We remain only 4 points off of Elgin City so we are certainly not out of the play off hunt. Roddy Cameron is an even bigger miss than first thought with very little creativity in the side without him in there.

After beating East Stirlingshire, we are now in the 5th round of the Scottish Cup...
View attachment 19100We are only going to Tynecastle, home of Hearts! What a draw! We will be playing on of the big boys of Scottish football and will most certainly be getting decent money from the game especially with the gate receipts.

We also made another signing, this time on transfer deadline day...
View attachment 19099Kurtis Roberts - Another freebie from Queens Park. I was saying how much we missed Cameron behind the strikers so I have brought in Roberts as competition and to start there in his absence. He tries the killer ball often and has good decision making, flair, dribbling, passing, long shots, technique, vision and determination for this level so should be a good addition. He signs until the end of next season.

There's some familiar faces from my Berwick save, Kesi Omolokun and Callum Donaldson! Could turn out to be a fun first job if you can get a promotion in the next few seasons

Hampus Silverholt - Yeah should be an interesting start to the save in the coming years especially if we gain promotion. I have rarely used Omolokun if I'm honest, was he a star in your save then?

February

I have managed to gain my National B Licene and as a result the board have agreed I can now study for my National A Licence!View attachment 19043
Steven Singlehurst has agreed a new contract for another season whilst taking a pay cut at the same time.

View attachment 19042Stirling - We start the month with a comfortable 2-1 win. Sinnamon scored a free kick and Jonathan Reid opened his account for the club with a fine finish.
Stenhousemuir - Jonathan Reid got an unlikely brace as we share the spoils with promotion chasing Stenhousemuir. We could and perhaps should have won this game if it wasn't for wasteful finishing.
Hearts - Our trip to Tynecastle ends in defeat but we most certainly weren't embarrassed! They played a full strength side and completely dominated with 34 chances compared to our 6.
Albion Rovers - A disappointing 0-0 draw away at Albion Rovers, again wasteful finishing costs us 3 points.
Berwick - We got completely bossed all over the park as we get demolished by our rivals and table toppers Berwick.
Cowdenbeath - 2 points dropped! We created 19 chances compared to their 3 but share the points. David Wilson opening the scoring for us.

View attachment 19041Too many dropped points sees us finish the month in 6th however only 5 points off of East Fife in 4th. Paddy Cameron is set to return in the next game so hopefully with his creativity and talent, we can pick up a few more points in the coming months.

View attachment 19040After our Scottish Cup tie away at Tynecastle, you can see just how much it has benefited us financially. We gained £213,000 from gate receipts in February and most of that came from the attendance of 19,000 people at Hearts. We now have an overall balance of £158,000 and should keep us up and running for the next year at least.

March

2 new contract extensions, Andy Munro and Ryan Sinnamon have signed on for another season and both agreed a £10 wage drop.

View attachment 19039Peterhead - What an away win! They were the better side but we managed to dig and deep and get the win. Swinglehurst scored a header early on, Shanks equalised for them before a late winner from substitute Jaoa Victoria.
East Fife - Back to back 2-1 away wins! We were magnificent and took the lead through a Roddy Cameron free kick. They then equalised before a relatively late winner from Aidan Smith.
Queen's Park - A game which we were actually second best in yet was our biggest win of the month. Swinglehurst grabbed his second of the month via a header from a corner again. Cameron unsurprisingly scored a corker and Wilson rounded off the scoring from the penalty spot.

View attachment 19038An unbeaten month sees us rise into the play offs! We are 3 points ahead of East Fife in 5th yet have a superior goal difference. Berwick and Stenhousemuir are fighting it out for top spot whilst there are 4 teams pushing for the remaining 2 play offs spots, all to play for with 5 games left!

View attachment 19037Pretty much cements the fact we are a one man team! After being injured for 2 months our form as a team dramatically decreased. Roddy Cameron returns and we win every game in the month and he claims player of the month with 2 goals from 3 games and an average rating of 7.93. Steven Swinglehurst also claimed second place in a fantastic month for him.

View attachment 19036Paddy Cameron wasn't the only won to win an award for his fine form in March. My first manager of the month award, hopefully the first of many! I just hope the curse doesn't strike and we lose form!

We also had our youth intake...
View attachment 19035A pretty decent youth intake! You can see the players that I have offered a contract to. Due to the fact our current squad aren't the greatest, I feel like our youth intakes ability and potential makes them look better than are.

View attachment 19034Anyway our player with the most potential is left back, John May. He doesn't have any real standout ratings either as a weakness or a strength. He will come in as back up to Martin Clark and after mentoring, I am hoping he will progress to be a solid defender in the future.

April/May

Jonathan Reid signed a new contract taking a £10 wage cut to stay with us for another season.

View attachment 19017Elgin City - We start the month disappointingly with a defeat despite creating numerous chances which we failed to convert.
Stenhousemuir - We took the lead through Thomas Reilly however didn't threaten from there on and deservedly conceded late on.
Stirling - I don't know how we lost this game, we created so much but couldn't find a way through before they stole it late on again.
Albion Rovers - Shocking! We had 38 chances and converted 3 of them. 2 of which in the last 15 minutes once they had a player sent off. Reilly, Reid and Cameron with the goals.
Berwick - We fall to another defeat on the last game of the season against champions Berwick. Despite having a slim chance at play offs before the game we didn't show up and should've lost by a lot more!

View attachment 19016Absolutely fuming! What a terrible run of form when it matters to completely bottle finishing in the play offs and dropping to 6th! We drew and conceded 3 goals against bottom of the league Albion Rovers on the penultimate game of the season to drop out of the play offs. I am particularly disappointed with the recent form of Belmokhtar and Smith who failed to score when it really mattered!

View attachment 19015 No surprise that Paddy Cameron won fans player of the year! I don't know how he didn't win 100% of the votes, Swinglehurst deservedly came second. Belmokhtar would've came in the top three if it wasn't for a diabolical second half of the year.

View attachment 19014If this doesn't cement the fact we are a one man team, I don't know what does! Cameron topping all the important charts. He was involved in 28 of our goals this season despite being out for 2 months of the season. David Wilson got a high 90% on pass completion and Reilly got most yellow cards despite looking very innocent.

View attachment 19018I managed to tie down Paddy Cameron on loan until the end of next season! He has by far been my best player this year, I just hope Raith Rovers don't sell him or recall him anytime soon!

Unlucky mate! Was hoping you would make the playoffs. With Cameron back on deck for another season and some extra depth via that youth intake I can see promotion for you next season. :)

Transfers, Pre-season and Betfred Cup

View attachment 18969First thing that happened during pre-season was a takeover. Annoyingly it last a few weeks and really affected us in the transfer market. There were numerous players I was keeping tabs on but most moved without us attempting to sign them due to the transfer embargo we were in because of the takeover. This embargo also prevented me from getting Mark Wardrope or Martin Clark back on loan, once the takeover happened, their parent clubs Ayr United and Dunfermline wanted them to play with higher calibre of players.

Also during this time, I was approached by a club...
View attachment 18968Recently relegated Inverness Caledonian Thistle offered me a job interview. They have just got relegated from the SPL so I was eager to get the job and try and get them back up however they decided I wasn't the man for the job.

View attachment 18967I have also gained my National A licence and that means I am now studying for my Continental C Licence. I am stunned that I have managed to get so many badges so early on in my managerial career, especially at a Scottish League 2 club.

View attachment 18966I am stunned the board are expecting so much! They expect us to win the league despite the fact last season our objective was to avoid relegation and we finished 6th. They're expecting to reach the 4th round in the Scottish Cup aswell, safe to say the new board are very optimistic.

View attachment 18957
Heres the players we released after their contract expired in the summer. Strikers McLeish and Victoria leave after failing to impress during their time here. I would've potentially offered Victoria a contract on less money but he wasn't interested in signing a new contract. Midfielders Dickson, Moxon and McKirdy also leave, the latter did sign a non contract in the summer but following serveral signings I decided to release him especially with Shields, a youth team player being a capable back up. The same applied for Omolokun who got released later on in the window. Roberts, Fergusson and Robertson all got released but never featured for me during my time as manager.

View attachment 18958
Kane Hester signed a non contract in the summer however East Fife came in for him and offered him more money, he dropped down to 5th choice so I wasn't going to get in his way of a move. lets meet the incomings...

View attachment 18965Aaron Connelly - A loan signing from Dundee United. 6ft 5in with fantastic physical attributes. He also has good finishing, movement, determination, bravery and anticipation. He has woeful composure but hopefully his other attributes will make up for his lack of composure.

View attachment 18964Ciaran Summers - After Martin Clark's loan expired, I needed a new left back. In comes Summers, he is fairly slow but has good passing, work rate, determination and decent crossing so should be a good addition at this level.

View attachment 18963Roddy Kennedy - Hopefully as good as his namesake Roddy Cameron! He has some impressive physical attributes alongside good movement, determination, decision making, anticipation and ok finishing so hopefully will chip in with a few goals this season. He is on a season long loan from Inverness.

View attachment 18962Greg Pascazio - He claims to be Scottish even with that surname but he comes in for £500 from recently relegated Arbroath. He has good tackling, heading, anticipation, determination, strength and positioning. He has all the necessities to be a good defender.

View attachment 18961Daryl McHardy - Another centre back joins. McHardy arrives following his release from Elgin City. He has very high determination and aggression alongside good tackling, heading and positioning. Like Swinglehurst, he is naturally left footed so will add healthy competition. He does look like a red card waiting to happen however.

View attachment 18960Kieran Christie - A season long loan signing from St Johnstone. He is 6ft 8in with fantastic vision and jumping reach. He should add physical presence to the side alongside decent tackling, first touch, work rate, vision and passing. I've never seen his personality type on FM before but hopefully with successful mentoring and man management I can change his low self belief.

View attachment 18959Liam Callaghan - A central midfielder arrives from Brechin for £500. He is an all rounder with good mental and technical attributes! He doesn't have the best physical attributes but he's has been brought in as backup to my other midfielders.

View attachment 18955
I had 3 friendlies ready just so we went into the Betfred Cup looking reasonably match sharp. We started with back to back draws against Arbroath and Darlington. We got a respectable 2-1 defeat against a strong Nottingham Forest side. We did manage to win a friendly against Bradford Park Avenue from the Vanarama North.
Airdrie - We scored some fantastic goals in this game. Connolly and Reilly scoring just before halftime to take us into the break 2-1 up. We managed to hold on until deep into stoppage time where they finally scored and eventually won on penalties.
Ayr United - A game we competed it and were not embarrassed! We really gave as good as we got and were unlucky to come away with a defeat.
Hamilton - We went away to SPL side Hamilton. We actually took the lead through a screamer from Belmokhtar. They then showed their class though as they picked us off and won 3-1.
St Mirren - A game where we didn't really threaten the SPL side. They were by far the superior side throughout the game and deserved the win.

After 5 straight defeats against superior opposition, I decided to play a friendly against a far weaker side in order for the players to go into the new season with some confidence and a win under their belts. I was expecting a bigger win against funnily named Royal Albert.

View attachment 18956It looks grim reading however considering we had 2 SPL sides in St Mirren and Hamilton, Championship side Ayr United and League One side Airdrie we gave it a real good go! We managed to score in 3 of the 4 games against higher opposition. Hopefully we gain a lot of money from gate receipts!

View attachment 18906Elgin City - We start the season with a convincing win! David Wilson got us going after only 8 minutes before Jonathan Reid doubled our lead just before half time. Belmokhtar scored the other goal.
Cowdenbeath - Back to back wins and clean sheets! Aaron Connelly scoring his first career league goal to seal the win.
East Stirlingshire - Our first defeat, we battered them but couldn't score and they managed to nip a deflected winner late on.
Queen of the South - Wow what a thumping this was! We thoroughly deserved we got. Kennedy did come off the bench to score his first for the club.
East Fife - A game where we struggled to get going and deservedly lost 2-0.
Peterhead - A game where we got bossed in again! They should have won by more however we scored 2 late goals to make the scoreline look respectable.
Queens Park - Back to winning ways! Donaldson scored before getting sent off dead on half time! We then found ourselves 2-1 down with 10 men! Somehow we dug deep and Connelly scored a brace to win us the game.
Arborath - Another game where we dominated but came up short. They had 2 shots on target both from set pieces and converted both.

View attachment 18904We finish the month in 5th place. We are level on points with Arbroath in the last play off spot. I feel like we can massively improve after a disappointing month so I am expecting a play off place come the end of the season. A really disappointing month for last years league player of the year, Roddy Cameron.

September

Central midfielder, Kieran Christie, has been recalled by St Johnstone after he rarely featured for us.View attachment 18903
Stirling -
A game where we didn't play very well in but managed to get an important win! Roddy Cameron scored a hat trick of free kicks after I called him out about his recent performances, safe to say he shut me up!
Brechin -
What a win! We went a goal behind before then showing how ruthless we can be with fine goals from Belmokhtar and Pascazio which turned the game around.
Elgin City -
We played so well and opened the scoring through Reilly. Rabin Omar then grabbed a goal back before Reilly scored an absolute screamer from 30 yards in the 91st minute which I thought would be the winner. Elgin then scored an equaliser in the 92nd minute straight from kick off before another set piece cost us the game in the 95th minute!!

View attachment 18902We finish the month in the last play off spot with 15 points. It makes the Elgin result even more gutting considering they are bottom of the league and a win would have put us 1 points off of top of the table East Fife. After 10 games you see just how close it is throughout the league with 12 points separating bottom of the league and top.

October & November

I decided to merge two months together as we only played twice in October!View attachment 18501I have finished my Continental C Licence and as a result I am now studying for my Continental B Licence.View attachment 18500Cowdenbeath - We were 2-0 up via a brace from Belmokhtar however we conceded twice in stoppage time to end up drawing the game, fuming!
Whitehill Welfare - A comfortable 2-1 win thanks to goals from Roddy Cameron and Aaron Connelly sees us into the next round of the Scottish Cup.
East Stirlingshire - A dismal performance ending in a poor result. Pascazio did score with 15 to go but we never looked like getting something out of the game.
Peterhead - An utter shambles! Could and should have lost by more!
East Fife - What a performance and result to match. Belmokhtar scored a fluke goal before a Jonathan Reid strike and a rare Roddy Kennedy appearance and goal sealed the win.
Airdrie - Up against League One opposition but we well and truly bossed the game and came out as 3-1 winners and deservedly so! Reilly, Connelly and Cameron with the goals.
View attachment 18497After a month of inconsistent results we finish November in 5th place. We are only 1 point behind East Stirlingshire who host the last play off sport however we are now 12 points off of Peterhead at the top. We are closer to bottom of the table Queen's Park now!

As we beat Airdrie in the cup, we are into the next round of the cup...
View attachment 18495Just like last season, we are away to a SPL side however this season we are off to Fir Park where we will play Motherwell. I am hoping for the same financial benefits we got from last seasons tie to Hearts.

Start of December

I have managed to sign Jordan Miller, Abdulkarim Belmokhtar and Callum Donaldson for a further season.

View attachment 18328Queens Park - We went 2-0 up through Swinglehurst and Donaldson, I made all 3 subs before Roddy Cameron got injured (he will be out for 8 weeks) and they turned the game around whilst we had 10 men.
Stirling -
Another game we led through a centre back scoring, this time Pascazio however de ja vu as we get pegged back to share the spoils.

View attachment 18327We are level on points with Arbroath. They have a massively better goal difference but they are there for the taking!

However, we have ourselves a new job offer...

NEW CLUB

View attachment 18325

Go Ahead Eagles in the Dutch Second Division! Here is my new home for the foreseeable future...
View attachment 18324Beats the Annan Athletic ground hands down!

Lets see how they have been doing in the league so far this season...
View attachment 18323A current 17th place. I have been given the expectation of avoiding relegation so I feel as though the previous manager should feel hard done by if that was his expectation when given the sack!

Lets meet the squad...
View attachment 18322My assistant seems to rate the squad quite highly. Clearly the loan players are some of the better players at the club.
