Thanks for the feedback. Yep, I noticed it also. A deep lying playmaker on defense could be an option. The player instructions are okay, yes.

I changed to a Ball-Winning Midfielder(Support) with the same instructions, adding just the close down more and dribble less. After 5 games Saul averaged 7.89 comparing to the 7.15 he was playing.

Wow, nice! And what about the balance? Do you get more shots against? I feel like in RL you should have one player who takes the vision/overview of the attack and keeps the balance in the team.

I will try it out tomorrow!

I shot more and take less shots with the cost of possession and stamina. The other thing I want to try is playing the deep lying playmaker with close down less so it simulates that aspect of the player that takes the vision for the team, which will generate more possession and possibly more shots.
 
i almost lost my championship !!! with that ball winning support... i lost about 4 match in row...wtf... for Support i dont recomend at all way too bad

changed back and won the title last game pff..
i dont know if will be good if make DMC in front of cb, like tff maybe is good or i dont know, i just suggest solution if u going change it, dlp i dont know how good will be . But well.. with players like pogba like a lot people use them and teams , can use any position as well... i just told my opinion, cm -d is ok , i dont know if can be better
 
for some reason cm(d) is having low ratings in whichever system I use this year, even if I can see the player making some amazing interceptions or tackles it's still a 6.6 rating. It's like they have goal.com doing the ratings
 
Could the issues for the CM(D) having low ratings be related to passing? I'm using McCarthy there and he is always on a 7 rating but if I use Sturaro there he gets low rating and he's passing isn't as good?

Just food for thought

i could say that its more important to focus of what Prefered foot have your gys in the mid than the position
Left for the left side right for the right side of mid at center i mean
Now i dont know if other role could be better ,but for me Ball winning -Support was really bad ... if someone find something good can tell :D
 
Christian i try the following Tweak
DMC- S on (DMC) position . if your mc is Right foot place your DMC in front of left cb and the mc at right position of center (how exatly u seted already
Second i tweak the Box to box in PI -> Get forward + roam from position
DMC-s have 6.9 rates stable i hope will work for u also. i will be in steam chat in case. Your msg here are full i cant msg u
 
I've been using original version with big sucess. Broke few team records last season as well as some individual records. Team and players complete overperfom.. for example scored 146 goals in Bundesliga, conceded 19 hitting a total of 94 points which is pretty good in a really competitive league. Best goal scorer with 42 goals in 31 league matches hitting 61 goals in 48 matches in all competitions. Few insane results 10-0 against Bayern Leverkusen, 9-0 against Werder Bremen, 8-0 against Hamburger SV and Kaiserslautern. In champions league 7-1 against Dinamo Zagreb, 6-0 against SL Benfica and 5-0 against Juventus.

In what concerns about the central midfielder I do not experienced any issues to be honest. I'm using mostly defensive midfielders adapted to that position. Basicaly I prefer players with good marking, tackling, anticipation and positioning at first. Then I belive is also important being a good playmaker with decent values on vision, passing, teamwork, work rate, etc. From what I understand that place should be occupied by someone suitable as a mix of box-to-box and ball recovering midfielder.

Also I use left footed player as right wide midfielder and right footed player as left wide midfielder but both players were taught before to cut inside from his wing and to get forward whenever possible which might make slightly difference. My strikers come deep to get the ball and move into channels which open spaces for wide midfielders to exploit in interior areas of the pitch. Not 100% positive if this works better than the opposite strategy but is working pretty solid for me and I'm enjoying a lot the football practiced as well as the results achieved.
 
Christian i tested my twak more even with nations , i can say its way big impact in overal pitch and at scoring
the tweaks are to dmc +mc as i metioned at previous post :D
 
What tweaks did you use? Cant seem to see what tweaks you've made in previous posts unless its just me being dumb pal

That's absolutely an option, yes. But the CM (d) doesn't do much when in possession. You can change the role to a deep lying playmaker. Should work better!

You can change it to a deep lying playmaker on defensive dutie, don't change the instructions. Good luck!
