F.A Community Shield- Manchester Utd vs Manchester City

Man Utd no doubt dominated the game, But this is how City play and they do it very very well against the other big teams

United have looked goodish going forwards but lack the final ball. City have taken their chances though and United's defence looks lacklustre at the moment. Need to step our game if we are to get back into this.
 
Might aswell give them the shield now, they're just gonna park the plane in the second half. First goal was pathetic defending, second goal was pathetic defending & goalkeeping....overall, it's an undeserved lead and the game is ruined.

Nani's tackle on Balotelli was beautiful though...absolutely perfect :wub:

United team looking good. Just 2 mistakes from the defense and arguable a mistake from the keeper during his first proper appearance for United. Not such a big deal.
Too bad the 2nd half will just be City defending and not bothering to try attack.

But it's just a glorified friendly.

Looked rusty at the back, which is odd, i'd have expected the midfield to have been the issue, looking a bit laggy with our final passing
 
Too bad for De Gea that he made an error with the second goal, I like the lad. But where is the United defence, how can you give someone so much space?
 
City will probably sit back, and they have every right to, up to us to break them down

Can't wait for the usual pessimistic fans coming in crying that unless we buy Sneijder, bring Ronaldo back and take Schmeichel back 20 years, we'll be in a relegation battle.
 
Great for 35 mins but couldn't find a breakthrough, doubt that will change in the 2nd half either.
