There have been negatives, cristaldo has been awful and is on his way out, and a long term injury to escudero was a real shame. But . . . . . .with a game to go the table is like this . . . .

a magnificent 5-0 home win against lowly swansea sealed promotion on goal differance, wins for southend and scunthorpe by a goal to nil saw hobbs's side leapfrog to the top of the league!!!!!

championship update!!!!!

its november and villa real sit 22nd in the championship!! the real struggle was scoring goals, those of you who have followed this will agree that has not aleays been the case, but it was here, but on the back of this post, we have just beat plymouth 4-1 at home with the fonz netting twice so we will hope we have turned the corner, it may be time to buy some experience!!!
