FIFA 11 Ultimate Team

The web app has been updated now and is giving out free daily gifts again, including a chance of player packs. I got a bronze mini-pack today with two players, Brisbane Roar home kit and a bronze contract.
 
Just got 50 bid tokens. Deleted my team out of frustration, back to full bronze side so going to build either a La Liga side or EPL.

Tried a full Scottish team once, was pretty epic but the fact Derek Riordan was left footed on the game annoyed me.

Sxored a sreamer with him though, found HERE. My name was ****, 'Hearts' haha.

Going to hardcore this now!
 
can someone explain to me what is fifa ultimate team?im play fifa 11 but in psp:$

Got him for other night, seems to be a cheap one. Trying to build an all-Dutch squad but cba to try earn more money until xmas tournies.

Its basically a trading card game, but with a big FIFA twist. You make teams and use them in tournaments and matches to earn coins with which you buy more cards etc.
 
toddzy, that was a topper! I hope Stokes or Hooper were in that SPL team somewhere. :P

blank 27, it's a free extra game mode where you collect, buy, sell and trade cards on Xbox Live/PSN and build a fantasy team. :)

And Cal, I'm trying to put together an EPL one. Got Jo, Emerton, Larsson and Hutton down the right side, with Heitinga and Kjaer at centre back. :D

Sadly not, it was just Scottish players, ie Dorrans, Ferguson...

I had a rare Kenny Miller which I picked up for 700 coins, punted it on for 2500. Was thinking of doing a Hearts side but some of the prices for silver players are a bit excessive. A seen a Kevin Kyle for like 8000 coins once as a starting bid.

I would have done an EPL side, and probably will once I get some decent money, but wanted something relatively cheap. Although when I was drawing up my target list I found a problem... Can't find any gold Dutch or Eredivisie left-backs, might have to get Baines for the Everton link to Heitinga :(

Bit hefty...but I wouldn't mind having Dorrans, would fit into the EPL theme as well :P

Urby Emanuelson was a left-back, but this year he''s been put as LW, and he is 60-sopmething at left back, which is ridiculous. :(

Aye he was good, he's like a 75, I changed his role to a CDM to fit into a 4-2-2-2. McFadden and Riordan to CAM from CF.

Just loaded UT up, wooo.
 
Yeah, I've got Fernando of Bordeaux at CDM, he's a 77, but he was in my first pack, if I remember correctly. I'm quite pleased with ma wee team, Pipo Inzaghi picked up an injury and I have to play my back-up striker...who's rated 59. Yaldi.
 
Meh I know the feeling. Just had a look at dorrans and he's quite cheap mate. Average around 600 coins, I'd say thats alright.
 
Not bad, will have a look. I lost the wee booklet in the box and therefore don't have an online code, so I'm just playing offline games against Chelsea, Barca, etc until I buy some Microsoft Points and buy a pass. By the way, after how long should you start thinking about contracts?
 
I tend to avoid letting it drop below 3-4 games mate. Going to play the bronze open and amateur open, just for some coins.
 
Oh, cheers. :D I'm saving up to get the Lyon away kit and a decent home kit, don't like PSV's home top. :S
