FIFA 11 Ultimate Team

Why do people ask to buy/sell players in this thread? They are likely to be cheaper on the market anyway
 
Sigh. I have no luck on UT.

First example is I'm playing a 5* star team in the last 8 of that EA Sports Cup- I'm 2-1 up, looking comfortable, and dangerously attacking. The Half-Time whislte blows, and I'm D/C'd from the EA Servers. Out the tournament, hard work counts for nothing and my DNF coin thing is dropped.

Example 2- I re-join the tournament, starting from the last 16. I win a penalty, its saved. Then about 10 seconds later, I get another penalty! But.. saved again. I take the lead, but then in the 2nd half- 3 crosses in 6 minutes, all headed in from Dimi Berbatov and I'm 3-1 down. I'm playing against an average player, and I'm dominating but only salvage a late Mark Albrighton goal.

So frustrating :(

Me and you both mate, being 13 my Parents still control me and they always ask me to do jobs when I'm winning (which is rare) so I has to turn the Xbox of during a game ruining the DNF thingy and lose the game, so frustrating :(
 
I still nearly cry over the thought of having a 36-2-2 record if it wasn't for EA servers :'(

I'm regaining my DNF by using my EZ-mode 100 chemistry bronze team. I'm thinking of getting Bennett from Brighton, but he costs over 5000 coins on PS3, so I'm not sure.
 
Luck's getting slightly better I must admitt.

After rejoining the tournament again, I got lucky with my last 16 opponent- A 3.5* average team- Not bad on paper, but lacked any real 'stars'. Easily defeated 10-2, proud of that one.

Last 8 tournament, I got a 5* team- 3-1 down after 32 minutes, I thought I would be bowing out the tournament at this stage. Somehow I got too 3-3 before half-time [And had chances to make it 4-3] but had to wait until 54 minutes to get it too 4-3. Though, as usual, conceded a late goal- Into Extra-Time it went. Luckily, I won on penalties, and I'll be in the Semi-Finals tomorrow!

Agbonlahor has been on fire- 11 goals in 12, and Young/Defoe/Lennon have been fantastic. Not to mention I have Carroll, Crouch and Adam Johnson on the bench if needed.

Might do an all English team myself, but the problem is I normally need a tank up front to play well (Briand, Gomez etc)

TOTW Carroll is a beast, but you won't be able to afford. :)

Plenty to choose from: Davies, Crouch, Heskey. Should be plenty of the latter knocking around :p

Why not just pick 3 pacey strikers, for your front-line. Like mine- Young, Agbonlahor, Lennon.

Would probably work better than a tank up front tbh, but thats my style I suppose.
 
Just went on a 6 game losing streak. I was only going to play one more game before playing COD. As the teams are loading I saw that the guy had a 100 chemistry premier league team. I also had a premier league team with only 77 chemistry and not as good players. I was expecting to be hammered until my new 1,500 signing Gareth Bale cut in onto his right foot and scored. The other team finally scored in the 70th after they had like 60 per cent possession. I had a feeling this game was over as I only had one shot game until in the 81st the ball game to Bale and he turned Andrey Arshavin inside out before slotting past Van der Sar. The game ended 2-1 to me. I had 43 per cent possession at the end of the game and 2 shots. To be fair I was f**king delighted.
 
Bought a gold pack and was kindly greeted by an IF Ignazio Abate. Beasting. Last time I checked someone had bidded 30,000 for him. He has a BNP of 44,000 and like 7 hours of auction left so I'm hoping for BNP to come up. Will complete an Errdivisie (SP) with my takings from the deal.
 
I only have my full Wigan setup left but haven't lost in 20 games with it.
 
Meh, just tried getting on to sort my team out, ea servers wouldn't let me on, probably a good sign to get out of bed, I wouldn't want my DNF to get any lower lolololol

EA servers kicked me out of the last ******* game I was winning. I'm filing a complaint to EA customer support demanding my 4 losses vaporized and 4 wins added. I'm also demanding my DNF raised back to max.

They probably won't do this though as they are giant shitheads who can't make some god **** proper servers.
