Just watched Ben Kingsley in 50 dead men walking, really good film.

Ninja Assassin is shaping up to be enjoyable. Sherlock Holmes might be interesting, as well as Inglorious Basterds. This summer has been a bit disappointing for me, I have yet to see a movie as good as TDK. So, I'm going to give up on this year and wait for 2010 to pleasantly surprise me.

Well, I wasn't always a Liverpool FC fan. Let's put it this way - I became interested in The Reds because of Steven Gerrard, I joined the Liverpool FC bandwagon because of Dirk Kuyt and I've kept on supporting the club because of Fernando Torres. So yes, Torres is currently my favorite player. But since he's all over other people's sigs, I had to make do with my next favorite, namely Kuyt.:P

Saw an advanced preview of Inglourious Basterds on sunday. Brilliant film! The characters and the script are quality! Much better than Tarantino's last film- the awful Death Proof! The nature of the cast does, though, seem to make Brad Pitt stick out a bit like a sore thumb, as he is the only massively recognisable actor. Still, he is quality in it!
Definately must-see! I'll probably go to see it again, as with many of Tarantino's films, you pick up more after you watch it again!
8.5/9 out of 10! :)

I don't mind Gladiator. It's watchable and has some cool fight scenes. The story is a bit over-dramatic though.

Gladiator was good, the first 2 or so times I watched it.

It kinda lost it's appeal after I saw it for the 20th or so time the other night on FilmFour.

just been to see final destination 3d, went with 2 others they didnt think much of it, i thought it was quite good to be honest, but everybodies a critic.

im looking foirward to cloudy with chance of meatballs 2012 and avatar

I can hardly wait for Inception. The teaser makes it look like a really cool sci-fi movie.

saw District-9 on saturday, ace film! Cant quite think of what others I've seen but it's definately one of the best, if not the best, film I've seen this year!
The lead guy, Wickes, actually sounds like a scouser when he swears! pure comedy in an otherwise serious film!

come on though, was pretty groundbreaking epic.
it had everything you want from an action epic aswell.
class act, obviously you're not watching it for story though!

on the subject of great story, i just finished watching 2001:a space odessy.
love this film but eveytime i watch it it always makee me feel weird after, like really philisophical- probably because of the Nietche allegories in the film i guess! XD

Went through Batman Begins again, and it still felt as epic as the first time I saw it. I don't know about the rest of you, but I find it much more enjoyable than The Dark Knight. From a comic-book fan's perspective, BB was a true comic-movie adaptation of Batman, while TDK was like a mob-drama guest-starring Batman.
