While not technically a film Band of Brothers beats them both. :D

Jarheads a great film about life in the U.S. Marines an a true story! Defo one of my favourites!
Platoon is always a good watch, whilst Casualties of war withSean Penn and Michael J Fox is really underated?

I saw Saw 1,2 and 3 and I gotta say.. it's a commercial movie but it's great! It doesn't have to be scare... it's nothing interesting in some scenes where the bad guy comes from nowhere.
Saw is more an... evil & mistery movie. Tobin Bell is brilliant!
9/10 for the first 3 movies. I'm gonna watch the 4th and the 5th part this week.

Live or die. Make your choice! :))

No true film fan who appreciates the art of film making would like saw 6.

Watched Taken with Liam Neeson last night. Great film 8/10

Watched Mystic River last night. A master peice of film making. 9/10

Anyone watched that 2012 yet?? Im thinking of going too see it tommorow

Hopefully going tomorrow as well. Local cinema was swarming with people tonight, since it's only small... couldn't get in.

Only film I'm really waiting for is Avatar though.

Harry Brown is, in my opinion, an absolutely class film. Its up there with the top films this year I reckon, Caine is a legend.

I've also spent most of my student loan on dvds I've never watched (as well as MW2 and FM2010, naturally). Some I hadn't seen included Taxi Driver, The Godfather, Human Traffic, He Was A Quiet Man, Carlito's Way, Step Brothers and Pulp Fiction. I know I know, its shameful that I hadn't watched them before this month, but whatever. Taxi Driver and Pulp Fiction are now up there with my all time favourite movies.

I've still got Dead Man's Shoes, Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas and Casino to watch, although I now have very little money for admittedly more important things. Like food.

You should watch it Sean. I wont say anything about it for those who havent seen it but I thought it was great.

Thought that Harry Brown looked **** from the advert. But once i read what it was about It sounded quite good tho a bit of a rip of from Death Wish.

Yeah, Mystic River is excellent. Sean Penn just IS Jimmy Markum, fantastic intensity. Masterful direction from Clint Eastwood of the star-studded cast.

Really felt for Dave in it played by Tim Robbins. His wife was such a *****.

Yeah, but you understand her, though, which makes the film so much more compelling imo.
