Avoiding spoilers, but I wanted the film to be something you could then rewatch and be able to understand everything clearer, like Fight Club, whilst the actual solution was completely off the wall and unpredictable. I would have preeferred there to be nothing in the film which can;t happen in real life.

Anywho I just rewatched my favourite film, Trainspotting. So good.
 
saw the immortals the other day. Used 3d a little but really wasn't necessary for the film. It was like a slightly worse version of 300. Loads of good action with a bit of the weak story (few plot holes). Also one part where you could sense every man in the showing cringe at the same time. Would recommend you see it if you like loads of action (similar gore levels to 300)
 
Dream House 7/10 - Really good film i thought, confused me abit but had a good twist near the end! Would definitely watch this again. :)

Puss In Boots 6/10 - Meh, it was ok it wasn't as good as i was expecting it to be. I prefer Puss in Shrek tbh! :-|

New Years Eve 2/10 - Actually Horrific. Some bits did get a laugh out of me but it's just a bad version of Love Actually, and even so, i don't rate Love Actually highly either! Never again!...

Sherlock Holmes; A Game Of Shadows 7/10 - Really enjoyed this film, it's a bit long winded, went on for longer than it should have really, but it's got some really funny bits in it! :D <3 RDJ :)

Neither are new but are great all the same.
Aliens(alien 2) and Zulu.
Both in my opinion get 10/10.
That maybe because both are in my top 5.
Aliens is in my opinion ahead of its time. No other alien or film can compare to it. Maybe alien and it has possibly one of the greatest directors of all time.
For some reason Zulu has always been a great film to watch. I can't even explain why.
 
Just rewatched Rodriguez'/Tarantino's Grindhouse (Death Proof & Planet Terror)

Just as good as i remember them, with Death Proof being slightly better :)
Which reminds me i need to watch Machete, as the segment included in Grindhouse was awesome :D

There's going to be an Alien re-make of sorts-supposed to be a prequel. Think there's been enough of them already myself so this just does not interest me one bit. But you're right-Alien and Aliens are classics. One claustrophobic and jumpy, the other just full of guns and....****. Great films
 
Anybody watched the new movie "In Time"?

Was thinking about watching it, but cba to waste money on it if it's bad.

My little sister loves them, but she's 10 yrs, so she's forgiven...I, on the other hand, feel nauseous everytime i see a trailer in a set of commercials :P

I absolutely detested the Tron remake. Switched it off after 20 minutes. But I'm dreading the remake of the Black Hole even more. Have a feeling going to be calling it the **** Hole. Should just leave classic originals alone. Writers get paid enough for ideas for films without having to copy something else and making it worse. Such as The War of The Worlds. Truly terrible film
