watched 'Warrior' recently, have to say I'm surprised the movie wasn't properly marketed. It could have earned a lot of monies.
People don't know about the movie and those who do think it is based on UFC.

Brilliant family drama with a good bit of action mixed in.
This is the type of movie both men and women can enjoy and yet it failed on the box office because of poor marketing.
Will probably do very well on DVD sales and become a cult hit.

Nick Nolte will surely be nominated for his role as a reformed, ex-drunk, wife beating alcoholic.
Tom Hardy does brilliantly in his role as a man angry at the world. I look forward to seeing him as Bane.

Black colour ? It suits for movies where Tarantino was involved

The Pink Panther with Peter Sellers 100/10 ( every time i watch this, I laugh my *** off :D )
The Collector 6,5/10 ( really decent horror movie )
Shawshank Redemption 9/10 ( watched it this afternoon, great movie )
Escape from Alcatraz 10/10 ( epic Clint Eastwood movie )
Armageddon 10/10 ( simply fantastic )
Legendary 6/10 ( not bad movie with John Cena and Danny Glover )
Die Hard series 9/10 ( always worth of watching )
Home Alone 1,2 10/10 ( Christmas is not Christmas without Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern [Marv] )
The Pianist 9,5/10 ( amazing story about Jewish people treatment during WW2 )
G.I. Joe 10/10 ( definetly one of the best action movies in last 5 years )
Moneyball 9/10 ( it would be flawless if there was more important games shown )
Patriot, as every Mel Gibson's movie 10/10
Sin City 3/10 ( 3 is definetly because of Jessica Alba )
National Treasure duology ( 10/10 ) is the only bright star in last 6,7 years of Nick's career, and maaaaybe The Sorcerer's Apprentice .. it's just a shame, **** good actor ( definetly on my favorite list ) but about these new movies Drive Angry, Season of the Witch, i'm just getting disappointed
Shark Night 1,5/10 ( probably, one of the worst movies I have ever seen )
Apollo 18 3/10 ( it just didn't felt like real movie, though ... the idea wasn't that bad )
Fright Night 5/10 ( don't know how to describe this one )
Conan the Barbarian 0/10 ( same as Terminator without Arnie, sh*t ... I hope they will never try to do Rambo or Rocky without Stallone )

This is all for now ... It's gettin' late and my brain is shuting down, so I can't remember every film in last month .. I have some medical problems and everything I do is watching movies :D so, please ... keep going with this topic ! As I listed the comments, I saw some great thoughts, recommendations, warnings , thrills, etc etc ...

Die Hard 4 - 9/10

Totally awesome movie ! Not giving it 10/10 though, as it isn't the best movie I've ever seen. But like any Die Hard movie, it's ******* epic!
 
Yep, I agree with most, I would just say:
Conan : 6/10. That guy from 'The game of thrones' is not bad. Story sucks.
Sin City: 10/10. One of the best movies ever. Mindfucking experience.

dude you got some very random and varied tastes....especially G.I. Joe being 10/10 and calling it one of the best action movies of the last 5 years. i think i could name at least 20 better and thats just off the top of my head

however i say varied cause some of those are bang on!

but each to their own i guess

I watched this recently, and 9,5/10 sounds about right... More specifically it's about a polish jew trying to survive the holocaust...
Can't say i've seen many other films by Polanski but this one is a little masterpiece :)

I totally forgot to mention one movie I enjoyed couple of weeks ago ...

Space Truckers.....cannot be rated. If you've seen it you'll know why. If i did there would be a lot of zeros after the decimal point of zero before a one would appear

don't take my '10/10' for the best movie I've ever seen ... probably because there is no movie in rang of Gladiator and Braveheart ... masterpieces

Nah, well I probably exaggerated a bit. I'd give the likes of Inception and The Patriot 10/10 but they aren't my favorite movies.

I consider Inception science fiction rather then action movie ... but still a master piece, like Shutter Island
