Fresh from having Ronaldo win World Player of the year, Januzaj was 2nd, Tielmans won European Golden boy and there was 8 players in the team of the year.

It all went Uniteds way. Liverpool are beaten by Tottenham who are making a comeback from a long way back. Charlton do the business at Man City, Stoke drew 1-1 with Chelsea. Arsenal jumped Swansea after beating Fulham. SO we go 4 points clear with 3 games in hand.

4 goals in the first half, 4 goals for Ronaldo double figures again.

The team were not on top for as were playing so many games and cant play a consistent team. We did reach 100 goals for the season just past the half way point.

Top 3 all won but Chelsea got take down a peg by Swansea who pull themselves back into the Champions League race.

Week 20


Man Utd 2-0 Stoke

Ronaldo got 2 but his biggest achievement was not getting badly injured. He is not set to miss any game time but might get rested for the next game.

Most teams played today. Liverpool didnt so we extended the gap at the top. Man City jump to 2nd with a hard earned win at Arsenal & with Chelsea beating Spurs they move clear into 4th again.

2 Pens and 4 goals from Mr Rooney who has confirmed he will leave the club in the summer. Norwich beat Arsenal 1-0

Jovic scored 3 as another convincing win sets us up for our 1st League cup final where we'll play Arsenal who recovered from the 1st leg defeat

Tottenham 3-5 Man Utd

What a game. Never behind but often equaled. 3 times Spurs came from behind to level the game but Januzaj and a second from Ronaldo secured the 3 points for United.

Liverpool & Chelsea drew 1-1 and Man City thrashed Everton to take control of 2nd place while Arsenal did the business at the Sport Direct Arena to get back in the Champions league race.

Not that i'll complain but the result did not match the two teams performances. Even after spending 75 minutes with 10 men Cardiff held there own.

This was a sad tired performance. Had a man advantage for the second half but just couldnt out the game to bed.

Half the teams didnt score in a poor day in front of goal unless you came from the north of London who scored half the goals between themselves. From all that the top 5 all won and Spurs closed up on Swansea

One of our hardest games left in the calender. I tried to be more defensive after letting it a few too many goals against weaker teams.

A good win and our 3 main forwards all got in on the act.

Cardiff beat City in Wales. Liverpool take this chance to close the gap to 2nd. Chelsea dont take the same opportunities as they draw with Norwich and are in real danger of not making the top 4.

Ronaldo got 5 goals in 48 minutes while our other star players not rested scoring a goal each.

Man City are held to a draw by Huddersfield and as well as having played 2 games more they are a huge 13 points behind us. League in the bag now i think. Just a question of how many goals the team and Ronaldo will get and how long this winning run can go on for. The only game we havent won since September is our final Champions League game with Lyon after we had secured top spot and played u18's

The draws might not have been great in the cups but we knock out another big team comfortably. The quarter finals may require a trip to Arsenal or if pigs fly we'll get Watford depending on the results of the replay.

Top vs bottom sometimes goes this way. We played one of our weakest teams of the season and only just won.

Man City loose Liverpool, Arsenal & Chelsea all draw as we get even further ahead. Busy day at the P45 office as Steve Bruce is sacked by Hull & Ole Solskjaer is let go by Stoke.

Ronaldo could not do the business back home in Portugal. Thankfully Januzaj felt he was due a hattrick leading us to a huge 1st leg lead.

This one was over by half time. The score line make it look more dominant than it was as Arsenal were in this till Ronaldo score the penalty just after half time then Arsenal gave up the ghost and gave me my 1st League Cup title.




Week 27

Our 1st dropped points since September! This team should have been strong enough to win but with a League cup final on the horizon. Only 2 games today so no point in the table. Watford also beat Arsenal in the FA Cup so we'll face them in the Quarter Finals

We managed to have control of the game despite resting players again! After Di Maria gave us the lead it was quickly canceled out by Fischer we and needed Rooney to come off the bench to give us the lead and then a stopage time Gotze goal to secure the points.
Only 4 games again so little to report on match wise. Tony Pulis takes over at Hull while Stoke hire former Italian manager Cesare Prandelli.

Took a few risks by naming 3 u18s in the starting squad but didnt look in danger till Watford scored there 2nd giving us a very nervous last half hour till as United ALWAYS seem to do secured the game in the 93rd minute. We'll be back in London for the Semi finals against Chelsea

Another old fashioned thrashing as the back up guys take there chances. Chelsea are out after 2 stoppage time goals by Barca turned the tie on its head. Bayern are the other big side to fall out to Lyon who we beat comfortably in the groups.
