FM 2009: What Do You Think?

For me its not laggy all the time, quite smooth most of the time, but it does often have 5 minute spells where it goes very irresponsive and laggy. It takes like 5 clicks to click on something, quite annoying.
 
FM's perfect for me, never laggy. Only times it goes a bit slow is when windows open and on the 20ish of June when regens get generated

Anyway, FM laggy as all the time on my heap of **** Laptop. Hopefully by the time this one comes out i might have a new laptop which will pwn. Obvious everyone will have at least one game with City, Hopefully it's realistic with the reputation of City so huge players won't go to them despite throwing a lot of money at them.
 
Yeah never had any problems with FM on my PC. So hopefully I won't need to upgrade for the 3D engine to run as smoothly.
 
Ran fine on my new laptop, except maybe soemtimes it would take more than one click for it to work on continue. Until it died anyway.
 
i hope the transfer system will be much better...it's very difficult to give over 90milions for a world class player...;-(
 
Download what? The game?

You can download it from Steam on the day its released (not sure when that is, around the 14th of Nov i think)

Can download it 48 hours before release I think. Can't play it till 9am on the release day though.

is that juz demo version???;)
 
The screenshots have made me want this game so badly haha.

I am looking forward to seeing how much of an improvement we have on transfers and scouting etc. I can't wait for to try the demo (if there's one) and then the game on the day it comes out

There will be a demo.

"STEAM will also host and distribute the Football Manager 2009 game demo which will be available when it is released a couple of weeks before the release of the full game"

So November time I'm guessing.
 
the preferred moves thing i like the look of, hope they use it right
