That's not a bad idea actually. Will not be surprised if more clubs do it.

Love the game, my only gripe is when I watch in TV / Main Stand on 3D it becomes a tad gerky even thou my PC should run this game without a hicup. :S

Have you installed the latest patch? Some of the lag issues have been fixed.

I love it. I've never missed any of their series. Keep updating! I'll be one of your fans.

Thanx
Nume

Yeah i agree something could be added for you to use your career earnings on. But what exactly i have no idea.

i suppose you could use earnings as investment to help your club?

Woooooooop got it for Crimbo :D Still getting a bit of a feel for it though.

Wtf is up with the arrows though? U can't even have players running to the side?!! That has ****** me off, was gona make a 4-3-3 with my strikers running wide and I can't even do that!

Yeh the arrows have changed because SI thought it was too unrealistic having arrows like they used to.

Any chance of a 3rd patch lol

I aint played it for about a week thanks to match lag.

That's pretty lame if you ask me because surely the point of them is to say 'you run here' etc. I know some of them could be silly but changing them as they have is a bit naff

Just got this today, looking forward to starting a game very much :D Haven't played it in ages. The whole steam thing is ridiculous though, bit of a pain in the ****.

Got a nVidia 9800 GT (GDDR3, 512mb) today, launched up FM09, fingers crossed for no ball jitter/lag... Ball lag is still there haha. Upgrading to 4GB of RAM tommorow so I hope that solves it once and for all.

I'm really liking it all. It has interested me immediately in a way that FM2008 did not.

I got it for Xmas and installed via the Steam (no relation!) method, so it upgraded itself to 9.20 and I never saw the initial glitches. I've played enough versions to know to wait until at least the first patch! :D

I know under it all that they are more or less the same game, in a manner of speaking. But this one is so much more better presented.

I imagine the press conference thing will become very tiring after a while, but I do the LLM thing so press conferences for me are a lot more rare than for managers that jump into the big club hotseat.

The 3D thing is pretty good for me personally. I don't play FIFA or PES or whatever, so it's new for me...and it's the little things like when your keeper goes one way but then has to bend back with an outstretched arm to save a shot (reflex saves etc...) that I really enjoy - you can almost make out your little keeper graphic pulling a limb to make it!

When a player is down after a challenge, you can see them getting back-up...which was never clear with the old 2D tiddlywinks. No more yelling at a blob to get their *** in gear instead of just being a "full stop"!

And chipping the keeper...instead of it sailing over the tiddlywink, you now see how it sailed over their head!

I would personally like to see the introduction of management at a lower level, say Under-18's, Youth Internationals etc. Or becoming a pundit to pass comment on other games/players/managers etc when you are inbetween jobs. This might add a new dimension whereby someone you have p*ssed off as a pundit might cause you problems later as a pundit/manager themselves...

One tiny thing that does nark me, I always start with my experience set to "automatic". But I did play a game on FM2008 where I was an ex-International...but I go into my manager profile and it said "Uncapped"?!?! an uncapped ex-International...surely not too much to ask to pick a random number greater than, say, 20 and less than about 130 is it? :@

I am jw is the Handheld version on psp anygood and has it got the same 3D match engine :)

Thanks
