Not unlucky. It's because of weak players you have, many of them unknown. Mostly you are in season 5.
I come back with my results from the first season.

Look at the goals score by him. All from corners.:D

Now points:
Every League Point won = 135
Goal Difference = 114
Winner = 50
Manager of the year = ... (I don't understand why?)
English FA Trophy Winner = 40

TOTAL = 339

I'm going to have to pull out of this challenge due to my computer completely breaking. I'll reinstall football manager tonight and see if i would like to carry on this challenge :)

I agree with you. lol. Don't worry i didn't win the manager of the year as well despite dominating the league :S

I've just started in the Championship and 7 points after 4 games. Made some good signings as well and will be facing Liverpool in 3rd round of League cup at Anfield :S

I've recovered my old save from my computer. :) installing now. ill be looking to finish this season asap and catch up 2 some people.
 
2nd season finished

here are my points
League 2 winner = 65
league points total = 112
Goal difference = 83
TOTAL = 260
 
Charlie Adam in League Two - above - not a chance
Season Four Finshed
NPowerChampionship - Winners - 120 points
Manager of the Year - 1st - 70 points
League Points - 92 points
Goal Difference - +37 - 37 points
Total - 319
 
Wow, seems like some of you did quite well in the Championship but not me currently. Sitting 7th halfway through :(
 
old database - new database

its clear to see that playing on the old database is so much easier, Griffiths is available every time and with the new database he already at wolves therefore i think it would be better to clarify if people used the old update or new update, as some of the results are proper screwed due to this, and this corner routine thing in my opinion is ruining the game i mean 38 goals for a centre back wheres the point

Not everything depends on what database you used. For example, I used the last updates and without Leigh Griffiths, I get great results. There are many other good players which you can use.
Now I say you something: Doesn't matter how you get the victory, as long as you're winning. This is a competition. Think you Sir Ferguson is interested what way he used to get the victory, as long his team win the Premier League? No.

MOY = 70
League Points = 104
G.D. = 66
TOTAL = 510
 
@ killer1508 : "saved 45 times". Why?:-? The maximum is 40!
