i only hate that that it goes down quite often, nothing else dont bother me that much

Well, they serve no positive purpose, so it's more a question of "Why have them in the first place?".

I see it as less of an incentive for people to make stupid posts, which is why I'm pleased with this change.

Hmm, i see where your coming from and do see why it is a good thing and i don't really mind to be honest,

I can see some people kicking up a fuss tho
 
Loving the removal of post counts, now no one can tell I'm a fresh-faced newcomer :)

Does this also mean that certain network games will no longer limit acceptance to people with 100+ posts? I'm interested in playing a network game but I'm not inclined to spam another 95 times to be allowed to join..

I think the post count removal is a good thing. The only way of telling if someones a newbie is the status by their name. Big thumbs up on this.

It is still possible to see how many posts a user has (on their profile page).

But yes you're right it still has the user title, in your case, amateur.

If somebody can come up with some better user titles that would be great as the current ones have been the same for about 5 years.

I will see what i can come up with Sean how many would you need? 4-5?
 
Well 4-5 as a minimum. But it can be as many as necessary. Just as long as it's clear that new members are easy to recognize.
