FM-Base World Cup II

Id say wait, there's no rush as long as we are all made aware of the start date it won't make a big difference, the people who have signed up already can always run some friendlies till then
 
Well there are 17 members already, which is a pretty decent number. Although i agree that over christmas time activity will drop quite significantly, which will halt the progress of the tournament. So i think it might be best to wait until after xmas.

However, maybe we could do a mini straight knockout tournament for those that have already signed up? Just a thought.
 
Could always do a trial run to test the format before Christmas. Would take a long time to leave everything till after, even if it would mean a couple of extra players.
 
Hmm... I'll have a think and see what I can come up with in the next few days... maybe everybody who wants to can play friendlies against others and that determines your seeding in qualifying?
