ALSO BIG NEWS, Aidan has just informed me that his computer broke and as a result he won't be able to play. This means that Nomadic is now in the competition as the 16th pick and everyone after Aidan slides up one. All set and squared on that front now :)

I don't know if that is realistic... but yea I'd actually agree to doing a draw after maybe a round and making it "live" as in I update the forum thread first page every few minutes with the next number. Not everyone has to be online and we can still have a "live" draw".

Aye. My mistake; hence why I edited I thought he was taking about the draft.
A draw can be done whenever. :)

Bare in mind this is being organised over multiple time zones. It feels like it's taking a long time because it should.
Liaisoning between GMT and GMT + 12 takes time and it shouldn't be rushed. We want everyone to feel involved, not adjusting to only suit those in GMT.

True, I mean im in GMT -5 and I gotta keep up with all you British!

For a cool live draw. All me need is 5 people.

One person per group.
One person puling names.

We could do it on twitch with a multi-stream so all 5 people are in one window :)

I'm Irish thank you very much. We share their time zones, their sports, their electricity, their judicial system, their democratic system but we are NOT British.... I think I made my point :P

My fault haha

How about a simpler method? I just edit the post on page 1 reserved for standings and results every two minutes with the names of each person (since its 16 people we have 4 groups of 4 no seeds so just random selection). Anyone who is online can view the edits and its easier to organize.

I just like the idea of many people being involved. It's truly random :P
Either or, I don't mind (until i get a tough group; then I'm calling fix) :P

Why don't you just post on the thread every 2 mins saying who is in which group

Haha don't worry I will keep it 100% honest. And I'll do it after the first round is over so that the draft is still running while the draw is running :)

Then hopefully you impatient lot will respond quickly when it's your turn ;) That was said in full kindness LOL

Just did the group draw that will be gradually announced at the end of Round 1 and wow these groups are tough boys this tournament will be intense!

Just out of interest how did you do the draw?

Based on the registration order everyone was assigned a random number, then went to a random number generator and set it to crank out digits between 1-16, just repeated this process until every digit was chosen.

Sorry Gents! I'll take Arturo Vidal.

Alright Yeti picks Vidal, and Znik has told me his first choice is Neuer, so now it is on to Yiliang, who I believe is from China, should be morning there soon :)
