FM11 - DEMO - First Impressions

First ever post!

Mixed feelings on the demo. Have only played it for about 2/3 hours but my first impression was that I prefered the old inbox that was split. The new look just throws too much info at you I believe.

I also agree with what some others have said about the skin. In my opinion it is absolutely terrible. Oh well.

I like the new interaction with agents and believe this works well and adds realism. The match engine seems better, especially crossing/wing play (as othere have mentioned). shooting/scoring does seem hard but the majority of chances are wasted in real life so I suppose its realistic!

50-50 on this years game, for me the first time that I have not been impressed by the demo.

It's basicly FM10, with a new training system thats a bit to complicated and an awkward news panel that I hate, also Players deman far to much wages for my liking.

The inbox is really annoying. Too much information and not comfortable to read. I'm also :'( because I can't play with FC Twente in the demo. Though I love the new interaction system, especially since you can now ask the board to build a new stadium. In FM10 I had won the Champions League twice with FC Twente and I still had a stadium of 38000...

My review:
good points- improved ME which makes game more realistic, agents were briliant idea because it is easier to sign players,match preparation is very good and helps team to learn new tactics,I actually like new inbox because I always liked to read news around the world
Bad points- agentssometimes annoying because They ask to fill in wages my self because they want to see how much they could get(which is logical but) I have to do it for youngster and it wasting my time then I manager big clubs.At the moment is a BIGGER chance to score from cross then 1vs1 :O
Overall 8/10 for demo I think fm 2010 was great game and they couldn't improve just add small bits which they have done in fm 2011

Loads of people get sent off against me.

But to beat the rivals from 2-0 down, is a big plus for me.

Going to take me a while to get into this, I feel.

Haven't had chance to download the demo yet. But just out of interest guys, is the Premier League licensed on FM 2011?
Looking at the screenshots so far, some of the kits and logos are on there!?

yes they are.only skins are not compatible. for those complaing about the skin for the game, si will be releasing a dark skin at some point, like they did with fm10. and im sure the community are already working on custom skins (stuw, hurry up with the bbc sport one!)

exactly the same for me. its only you realise just how big an improvement it is. ive already uninstalled fm10 because i cant see myself playing it

also anyone playing as liverpool now... i wouldnt bother getting serious, and think about keeping the save for the full game, as there is a release day patch coming that, among other things, will put in the new owners.

I was going to, but couldn't be bothered knowing those two cu*ts are still there.

Am I the only one who doesn't want to get to into a save on the demo even though you can transfer it into the full game. The main reason I don't want to is because you can only play in 1 country and I normally play in a few countrys. Also you can only play until January and in the saves that I play and get really into I can play half a season in 1 night.

Am I the only 1 like this?

First Impressions? looks like we have gone back in time with regards to the "look" of the game???

Individual stats look much poorer, especially stamina and strength.
