FM11 - DEMO - First Impressions

thought this was quite cool, I've started as man city (shocking i know) and I wanted Torres,
i didn't have the full amount to pay for him, so i went to my board and asked them to sort it
low and behold. Torres is a man city player...

The main reason I don't want to is because you can only play in 1 country and I normally play in a few countrys. Also you can only play until January and in the saves that I play and get really into I can play half a season in 1 night.

Im in the same boat, I only started up the demo to check out teams and layout.
 
Ditto. And to see those two things that annoy me...

Unfortunately, again saw kick to corner from midfield and two meter sfrom sideline as well as the centerback running to mark someone in the center of the field, though not as badly as in FM10 I wager is just a matter of time instances so bad appear (just played six matches).

I like the improvements, specially the addition of XCR and XCL, nice to be clear in OI.
 
Hate the new mail thing, gotta flick through all the irrelevant pointless stuff. Don't know why they have to change the layout every year, like the set pieces thing though, makes it much easier. Match Prep seems to be just a bit of fluff to show if they have adjusted to your tactics. 3D quality is much better, bit more interesting to watch the highlights. Overall everything is cleaner n a bit more graphic.
 
Well, just uninstalled Football Manager 2010. :'(

i find they players seem to miss too many penalties, i had 4 in one match, Blackpool had 1, and all 5 were missed
 
I have a feeling the agents are going to **** me off, as well as all the stuff in the news that I dont care about, also I raged at one of my players because he was unhappy about me transfer listing him and I thought id might as well say all the mean stuff to him just to annoy him more :D

Conversely I've seen all I've wanted from this demo, so I think I'll uninstall that and go back to '10 until the full game comes out.
 
819 hours of FM 10 played, and I'm uninstalling it now. Goodbye, old friend.
 
I started as liverpool and I've got two error messages now (and I'm only 4 or 5 games in) saying that "football manager has stopped working".
:(
Anyone else?
 
I've just had my first freeze during a match. It's been a long time since that has happened to me
 
Quick point, apparently they merged the inboxes as that's what 'we' asked for.

So if we all ask nicely, can they change if back before the full release? Splitting it in the first place was progress.
 
the only problem am having is with barcelona on match commentry am finding it to hard to read the text at the bottom of the screen the blue background color is to dark i hope they fix this with patch

Has anyone else noticed alot of own goals? :S
 
anyone knows that shittu is free and btw i don' t have money to do a transfer is anyway to make my board buy that player
