Just noticed my strength is 4, that might need to be trained if you plan on playing me at CM in the future.

So we win all our next matches after that thrashing of yeovil, with all my strikers in great form *Matt smith got injured fr 2 weeks in training so he did not feature for us after that match*

If we carry this form and momentum into the season, I have really high hopes for the team


Player of the pre-season:

Thomas Bjunes- amazing striker and created a lot of chances when played in the ACM position.

We now play our first match in the championship against Middlesbrough away, and I hope we can win the match.......

I chose Lionheart in the goal coz he had a gr8 pre-season, same goes for bjunes and lewie.... in defence i wanted some height so i chose david as he is taller that meakin....
Questra is my primary HB and i am very much comfortable with my midfield trio, so no changes there, in the fb position, keane is a bit more fit than max so he plays and henderson was pretty good in the last match, so he keeps his place​

Won!!!! yeah!!! we start our season with an away victory, but i have to say it was really undeserved especially in the first half, as we struggled to keep hold of the ball and gave away fouls, but Lionheart came to our rescue, if it weren't for him we would've lost at least by 3 or 4 goals, my decision to play him was justified!! Lewie wasn't as good as he has always been but i dont blame him as we couldn't keep hold of the ball for him or bjunes to work their magic, the goal was a joy to behold thou some good one-touch passing made space for west and he scored a simple tap-in..... but if we dont improve we might struggle a bit!

I had to change my starting line-up a bit because Yosef got injured so I brought in Meakin, also Max Gonzalez replaces Keane, and if Henderson doesnt play well this time around i will drop him, also a warning for both Bjunes and Lewie , the one who fails to score today, will be dropped!!

So.... we did play Reading at THE WEMBLEY.... and unfortunately......... for them....

We thrashed them 3-0 ........ They had total domination in the first half, as 3 of their 5 shots were in the first half and they were keeping the ball for most of the time but their poor finishing cost them as they couldn't even get a shot on target, then i decided to alter the tactic a bit....
I added 'retain possession' and changed the shape to 'play wider' and boom... within a minute of doing that we scored, because of some unselfish play from Lewie Roberts.... he also got the assist in our second goal, squaring the ball to bjunes who scored a tap-in.... our third goal was a rocket from questra who slotted the ball in the top left corner from just outside the penalty box.... overall we couldn't keep any possession but we created a lot of chances, Lewie was the Man of The Match, as he got two assists, but he missed a couple of CCCs as hit them straight at the keeper, but since he was the best player he won't be dropped nor will Bjunes, who did score... sorry Matt, you will have to wait for your start :)

Playing another match now ... and it feels Lewie Roberts is the most unselfish player we have..... had a clear chance to shoot being one on one wid the gk bt decided to pass it to bjunes who fluffed his lines!


Update- Jordan Ridd scores a spectacular free kick


update- Lewie Roberts finally scores!!! that too a header, seems unbelievable when he is 150 cm right? ;) :P

Update- Woah!!!!! I just brought on Keane for Max and he scores a fluke, i feel he was trying to cross, but mistimed it and caught the keeper off-guard

I worry what my lad is up to getting at 6.3 and then a 6.6 rating in the two games we won :(. Hope he starts to improve cause I deserve to be dropped on this form.

It's just the beginning mate! We all have a long road ahead of us and I am sure your form will pick up at some point! At least you are healthy haha I am already hanging with the physio.

In my last 2 I have got 6.7 and (MOTM) 8.4. Also scored in the 3rd match!

Williams in!! Haha, looks like we will be club rivals AND international rivals! Competition in the squad will be good though :)
 
Making the bench for me isn't bad all things considered. Hopefully my CM training comes along soon so I can start contributing to the team. Good job everybody else. Especially Grindo for putting this together.
