Fergie 1 Keegan 0

the match engines improved but the good ole tactics board took a step back no side arrows and i feel the press confrences are to repetative already. I would like to see some real life mind games in game so you can watch another manager loose it when you get under his skin aka keegan Vs fergie saga lol

Make it so the keeper can actually stop own goals from happening. The amount of times I've seen the keeper just watch the ball roll in after it bouncing off his defence is shockingly high, and quite pathetic.

I don't like The Sims and I don't like Sim City, so that is why I don't request personal life and building stadium, stores, training camps and so on, as Fifa Manager got all of that already (if I feel a real craving to see that, I can play Fifa Manager for a while).
But three things I really feel I would like to see on FM 2010 are:

1) More complex tactic 5 x 5 boards, including more specific instructions to individual players like: get your game down the left, or down the middle, put their defense to run after you, etc. This shall include training and executing traps and plays for corners and fouls.

2) That I can play for my team as a Player/Manager. I mean, I don't want to actually play (with a joystick or keyboard) on the 3D game (that is boring, Fifa Manager has that already, and in the end is cheating). But I want to have to go and train my skills like all the other players, and be able to have myself on the game line-up so I can see myself playing - BASED ON MY SKILLS ONLY - as any other of the players. The AI will control me as it controls all the other players. But I would be able to select myself the areas I think I need improvement (like we do with any other players, training shooting, attacking, etc.)

3) As I become able to be a player/manager I want to see new ways of management, like for example, in real life, Real Potosi, a Bolivian team that is going to Libertadores 2009, doesn't have a manager. They are managed by a comitee of 5 players, each one acting as bench manager every other game. I think that is a **** of way to manage a team, as many players on different field positions can see the best way to arrange the team tactically. For example, if I am an Attacker I see the game on a different way than a Defender would see, so if I get players from all the field positions and we discuss the best way to manage the team together, I can have the best of all tactics. By the way, they are unbeatten since they started with this new way of manage their team.

Oh, I almost forgot. Different camera angles for the 3D. I want a bench view, as if I am training a lower league team, I won't have money to pay someone to seat up there and broadcast the game to me.

You should be able to say you want the sacifice the league cup or say if uve already won the league or your through in the champions league and you play reserves the board get dead ****** off when they lose and don't realise that you were already through anyway. Like in real life you could say im through i want to rest my first team and give my reserves a chance and they would understand.

- talk to the captain team, more communicating with team and media

- (give recommend to) set the ticket price, set the sponsorship deal (my team often ****** up)

- PRIVATE LIFE, its cool

- better 3d environment (stadium and supporters)

I'd like to create some plays.. Some moves that are trained differently, like some tactics to freekicks and this kind of thing.. Not the "Try the best header" and stuff.

1 in a million chance of naked streaker running on to the pitch

also pitchinvasions sometimes when you win a cup or go through to a semi final or avoid relelgation or win the title

How about they just finish the ******* game before they release it?! I'm sick of shelling out money every year to get a game which is so full of bugs and problems! SI need to get their act together! *ahem*

Well besides point two I quinda agree, more sophisticated OI would be useful, and for me most important of all is giving them instructions during the game (you know, the ball is thrown out because of an injury or anything and you can tell your captain "stay focused'', "beware of walcott's crosses", well plenty of things actually
I think that when you ask a player to do something (more precise shooting for example) he shouldn't have the right to say yes or no, he trains he makes it or not and he does it or not but I guess a lot of us have played football and when the coach tells you "drop to receive the ball" you don't tell him to sod off (well I don't). Of course with older players it could be different the ''I wanna do what I know'' argument is pretty logical.
Side arrows? More tactical possibilities so I guess it is good.
More preferred moves, and being able to learn more of them.
More board managing just for the fun, it doesn't have to be a simulator, but I remember a spanish fm like game whetre you could even set up the prices of catering and that was fun, but I think you should be able to say your opinion about commercial partnerships (you can do that with clubs already, just when youre five years in a team that is successfull I think your opinion is taking into account: see the fergie amongst the most influencial men in england thread somewhere in this site)
More tactical feedback.
Advice on how to best use a player, you ask your assistant and according to his stats he will tell you how he thinks he could give the most of himself (a little bit of help for those struggling).
A little bit easier than this one, or more precisely more realistic leagues are won by MAX 90pts, it can happen once every ten years that a team is invincible, fine but EVERY YEAR that's a bit too much.
Maybe thinking about releasing the full game a little bit later, although it will be frustrating for most of us we will be happier to see a game a little bit debugged.
I stop here because I think that sean is going to ban me for being annoying :)

er... and a full report of all players in the national squads, the u21 and u19 like clubs, also the possibility of choosing which stadium you want to play in

Maybe they will or won't but make man citys transfer budget like... £500 million :P
More interaction with players / staff.
Add more answers/questions in press meetings I'm sick of answering the same question over and over >.<

i'd like to see instant tactics changes. in real life, if a manager wants to change, he stands on the touchline, shouts instructions and players respond. If you just want to change mentality or player positions, why do we still have to wait for a break in play. it infuriating at the end of a game, say 85 mins, when you want to be throwing the kitchen sink at a team but you cant change tactics and the game ends without ever changing the tactics.......and the press conferences are far too repetative

better tactick mode were u can use same style of formation from 08 wa s mint umm better 3d graphics more face packs better bkgrounds a training sytems tht works manager as a youth coach or choose to be a couch or a scout in stead of a manager have female premeir league be nice addition some gd female players out there umm better transfer budgets. ad for instance man city richist club in world should have unlimated funds .and why is it tht when a new owner of a club joins it english should have big buissness men buyin clubs from difrent countrys . a decent scouting system and better younger players

either scrap the press conferances all together or improve them hugely, make them less common i.e only for big game or major transfers

Ive never had a press conference when signing a player. That would be good.

can voting FIFA Best player, like real world FIFA best player is voting by Manager and Captain Team :)

what's the point in side arrows?
i don't understand why you'd want a player to be to the left a bit (or right) when your team have the ball?

well actually it allows you to defend in a more narrowed way and attack with more width.

no it doesn't; your players do that anyway.

Arrows aren't player runs...

"What they did was specify two possession related static positions. As soon as a team won possession, a player would robotically follow his arrow to move into his assigned attacking position. Once there, he would make a play related move. When the team lost the ball the same would happen in reverse. During this movement, the player was following a preset instruction that kicked in no matter what was happening on the pitch, taking the player out of the game and impairing his ability to react to the action."
