All our facilities have been upgraded . I had high hopes for this years youth intake. But before that a strange happening at the start of the season i've just finished. I've only ever seen it happen once before on any version of FM.
I would draw your attention to stacy salt. Greyed out players i'm sure we are all aware of. More often than not they are awful.
Would you look at that!
Does the game use my facilities rating for grey players or not? I'm not sure how this happend but god he's good! He was signed up straight away and sent out to Celtic for the season. Has anyone else had a grey player like this?

not great youth intake this year so defo complain at the board,but salt looks gd and hopefully u can challenge for mid table this year then push on
Any improvement on 13th where we finished last will do for me.

MojoDex, this is so great that I am attempting to do this with my new save... it didn't turn out so well...
I should'nt have started with Heather St Johns haha, they're an amateur club, once the club turn semi-pro, not only had I lost almost all of my players, the club went into debt so quickly. Can't sign any greyed players on amateur contracts, so even bad players will ask for ridicoulous wages. My youth was no help, they were hopeless haha.
Nevertheless, I made it 2 promotions in a row, but it won't be a long road for Heather St Johns... Really bad youth intakes. Oh well, gotta wait and see where this is heading.

20 Games in and it's very much a mixed bag. 3 points off reigning champions Tottenham. Huge losses to Man Utd and Arsenal.
The arsenal defeat was a new record, one we should be ashamed of.
This was just as bad.

Stacy Salt is my new star player. Absolutley brilliant, girls name or not. Once he hits his peak he will be frightening!Oh an uh, Stacy Salt is probably a **** starThat's why he's that good and is greyed out... Get it? No? I don't either, but the name. hehe.

@KevArker, I had same problem with Runcorn Linnets and ended up deleting save!, but I've started again with Sevenoaks Town both of them are amateur clubs.

Are your youth intake all born in Guernsey?. If they are maybe Guernsey get better intake of youth than mainland English clubs is because they have no real rivals on the island, ie not competing local rivals for local players?. For example if you a small club from Manchester or near Manchester you would competing with the two big Manchester clubs for players. Do you think the population of Guernsey helps as well?.
They started as all Guernsey born but as i've gone up the league they have started coming from as far away as Cameroon. I thought i would of pulled a few french players in given Guernseys local but haven't had 1 yet. I'm not sure what effect popultion has on the gme if i'm honest. Guernsey has a populationof roughly 66,000. Not a huge pool really when you think about it.
havent read this for a couple of days so it was a very nice suprise to come back and see not only have u broke the premiership as i thought u would, but remain in there for a good couple of seasons. next thing to do is secure a top 6 finish and get into europe and take the mighty guernsey around europe!
We're sticking in there for sure. We could always try winning a cup for europe. I want to play Barcelona competitivley!

wow... Just read this thread from start to finish, absolutely unreal. Hats off to you mate, that was some going and it'll only get better.
Only criticism is with posting player SS's, put them up with the attribute graphs, gives a better idea of just how good players are rather than just numbers. That's just my opinion though!
