Results have picked up a bit. We have only lost 3 of the last 10 which is certinly better than the spanking Man City gave us earlier in the season! I'm happy and horrified at the Bolton game. Horrified as we went 2-0 down to a team in relegation trouble. But happy as we managed to secure the win regrdless with a 94th minute winner.

Our improved fortunes sees us rise to 8th. We hopefully can stay around this position.

If i had any doubts about Stacy Salt(i didn't) this put them to bed.

I gave him a new contract after this, interest is high and we need to hold onto him at all costs.

That's the long term goal

I did get lucky with Guernsey i'll admit that lol. Isn't there an Austrian team in the German lower leagues? That would be an interesting save.

That sounds superb... I will look at it when i ge home from work. There's an ametuer team that have links to Rangers so I'll look out for them too. Austrian team sounds fun though.

It's on this page here. List of association football clubs playing in the league of another country - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

  • SV Kleinwalsertal has played in Germany since the 1960s, playing in the tier twelve B-Klasse Allgäu 6 in 2011–12.[4]
  • From 1938 to 1945, Austrian clubs participated in the German Gauliga system because Austria was annexed by **** Germany. Additionally, a number of clubs from France, Luxembourg, Czechoslovakia and Poland also played in the German league system during their occupation.
No idea if they are playable but it would be an interesting challenge.

Sounds a bit ****-ish :D

Joking aside, I love these kind of teams playing in different leagues and developing their own players from their own countries. That is why Guernsy is quite a cool challenge, as an island seperate from mainland UK.

I usually put Rangers into the bottom tier of the English set up but they just develop English players due to having to change the clubs city to an English city for it to work... not a bad thing just unrealistic as we only take a few players from the rest of the union into our youth set up each season, not a full squad.

Can't wait to take on the German set up :D

hey mojodex... can you show us SS of your first team, like islywn owen etc.. want to see how they planned out.

Yes its ver San Marino-ish. I think the Welsh club in Englnd produce Welsh youngsters?

I'll do it when i get home, if i remember! If i forget remind me lol.

We only went and won our Europa group! We lost to Dortmund at home. Our own fault really. Tactics all wrong, they went down to 10 and still stuffed us. We put another 6 past Lazio and 2 past Maccabi. Dortmund put 9 past Maccabi......Nine!

We have also had the draw for the next round.

Dynamo Kyiv on paper we should beat they are not anywhere near as good as Dortmund. I make us favourites.

If we mke it past Dynamo we will play either Chelsea or Lokomotiv Moscow. I'd hope for Lokomotiv mainly due to being sick of the site of Chelsea!

Swansea and Cardiff do. I'd guessthe others do too, Methyr town I think it is.

I thought about going Methyr town, however, Wales doesn't always produce the very best players... you never know though. They do have a 10000 capacity stadium too however!

Speaking from experience with Guernseys 5000 capacity stadium i can tell you it helps.... Alot. Provided they get good crowds anyway.

I have just read all of this in the past day, i must say it is absolutely incredible! I am going to start a similar career with my local football team Market Drayton if i can get them.

Also, have you used the same formation throughout league 2/1/champ/prem ?

10,000 x £10 = £100,000 if you get a cup game against a premier league team for example! Gate receipts would be decent and 10,000 capacity is okay for the championship at least. I might consider them in future, decent foundation to build upon.

I have changed my formation a few times. The story has been updated when i've changed formation. Might be changing again after this season my current one is a bit leaky against the best teams.

I had a look and its only 1500 seats the rest is standing. Not sure if standing is allowed in the cup.

That is just balls... I'd be surprised if it isn't allowed, unfair on lower league teams if it isn't

TNS produce mostly english players despite playing in the welsh leagues.. definitely linked to where the club is actually situated

mojodex just reminding you, that if you can can you please show us SS of your first team. thanks

Still loving this. If you, or in another words, when you get the UCL trophy?

We would ideally like to go one better in the league cu this year as winning the FA Cup again is impossible since we lost in the 3rd round!

3rd Round saw us cruise past Hull.
GuernseyvHullCity_OverviewOverview.png

4th Round saw an immense extra time victory over Tottenham.
GuernseyvTottenhamHotspur_OverviewOverview.png

Quarter final we crushed Southampton. This could of been 10-0 the way we played. I was angry about there 1 goal.
GuernseyvSouthampton_OverviewOverview.png

I really feared the worst when we drew Man City in the semis. man City who remember put 8 past us earlier in the season. A slight ajusting of the formation and thankfully a fully fit squad led to these two results.
GuernseyvManchesterCity_OverviewOverview-1.png

ManchesterCityvGuernsey_OverviewOverview.png

I'd take 5-0 aggregate all day long against any team nevermind the current league leaders!

So here we are again the final. Would the Second time be a charm for us?
LiverpoolvGuernsey_OverviewOverview-2.png

We just were not hitting the target. On comes super youth Nas Davies who bangs in two goals to bag us our first league cup! We had qualified for europe again. Though not quite at the same stage we will still need to qualify this time.

All stems from hillsborough im afraid

mojodex just reminding you, that if you can can you please show us SS of your first team. thanks
I've done this for you now.

Doing really well and that intake was brilliant.
The intake was more than i ever thought id get. all 4 are guaranteed starters in a few years

Still loving this. If you, or in another words, when you get the UCL trophy?
I think if my youth intake keeps up we can crack the top 4 with 5 years.
