I'm sure if I was playing a larger club with deep pockets it wouldn't be a problem, but seeing as he already asked for a raise with a lower ambition it's in my head that he's going to ask for another with this growth. I'm not at an established club (** in LIGA adelante) and there are already larger clubs taking major interest in him, which is why I gave him the $10 million release clause. I see a lot of other DMCs and he's already among the best of them at 18, but they're making $30,000/week which I can't afford with my $40,000/week budget.
Even though I'm a favored personnel and Lucena's his favorite team I can't see him choosing us over that... This would make a serious dent in my plans of making an entirely homegrown team. He's pretty much the centerpiece.
