We were given a transfer budget of £24million and a wage budget of £1.21m a week which are big budgets considering Tottenham have already splashed the cash in real life this summer.

Transfers

Outs

The club already has Gomes, Adam Smith, Andros Townsend, Danny Rose and David Bentley out on loan. Most of these will be sold upon return.

William Gallas -
Joined Fulham in a £1million deal. Not good enough for Tottenham and took up a hefty 60k a week for a 34-year old.

Tom Carroll -
The young man doesn't suit the formation I plan to play. He joined Leicester on loan with a future fee of £850k in place.

Jake Livermore -
The same applies to Jake Livermore. Although he can play DM he isn't good enough to feature there regularly. Sold to QPR for a nice £5.75m

Ins

I tried to bring in Marouane Fellaini from Everton after he requested a transfer. My £27.5million bid was accepted, although he chose to go to Chelsea instead.

Victor Wanyama - Instead of Fellaini I opted for a cheaper player in Wanyama. He cost me £11.5m with wages of £24k a week. He currently has 3.5* potential but with the right training this could rise above 4*. Even if it doesn't work I think I could recoup the money for him.

Victor is the only signing I expect to make for the time being. I'll see how it goes and possibly have another dabble into the market in January.

Key Men

Gareth Bale - The focal point of the team. He'll play on the left in the first season although I may consider switching him to an AMC in the future as thats where he played in real life. Keeping hold of Bale is my first priority.

Sandro -
Arguably one of the best holding midfielders in the game. The young Brazilian is already subject to a massive bid from Manchester City.

Steven Caulker -
Youth product - He spent last season on loan at Swansea and his reputation certainly grew. The young man has 5* potential and will be a key member of the starting XI within the next few years.

Next up comes the real action as we start in the league at home to Wigan!

August

Defoe got injured for a month at the start of August. I looked at bringing in a cheap replacement and opted for Mexican youngster Carlos Fierro. He cost £4million which is cheap considering his potential, he also commands wages of £6.5k a week which is almost next to nothing for Spurs. So its a low risk transfer.

Results

Tottenham 1-0 Wigan
Walker

Manchester United 5-0 Tottenham
Young x2, Van Persie x2, Rooney

Europa League draw

We were seeded first for the draw which is always an advantage. We will come up against FC Twente of Holland, Red Bull Salzburg of Austria and big spending Russian side Anzhi.

Top Scorer
Kyle Walker (1)

Best Player
Victor Wanyama - Only played in one game and that was the 5-0 loss to United. He was the best of a bad bunch and finished the game with a rating of 7.2.

Progress so far is going steadily. The team seem to be gelling better together with each passing game, and hopefully we should start climbing the table into the European spots.

I think i'll definitely be investing in a left-back in January. Anyone got any ideas? Looking to spend £10m at the most.

Luke Shaw, or Ryan Bertrand maybe he's always pretty cheap and does well.

October

Tottenham 2-0 Red Bull Salzburg (Europa League)
Sigurdsson x2

Tottenham 4-1 Fulham
Bale, Naughton, Adebayor, Dembele - Petric

Stoke 2-2
Jerome, Walker o.g - Dawson, Defoe

Tottenham 1-2 Anzhi
Defoe - Eto'o, Zhirkov

Tottenham 3-1 Norwich
Dawson, Adebayor, Bale - Holt

Newcastle 1-2 Tottenham (Capital One Cup)
Obertan - Defoe, Parker (pen)

All-in-all a decent month. It saw us climb up two places in the league table and we now sit in sixth place. The only blot is the defeat at home to Anzhi, we started off well but the class of Eto'o showed in the second half and he turned the game on its head.

Top goalscorer: Jermaine Defoe (3)
Best player: Moussa Dembele

Ramsey

Anzhi 3-1 Tottenham
Traore, Marishin, Diarra - Defoe

Tottenham 2-0 Sunderland
Sigurdsson, Defoe

Defoe, Dawson x2

QPR 1-2 Tottenham

Zamora - Defoe, Bale

Tottenham 3-3 Aston Villa
Vertonghen, Dembele, Sandro, Fierro missed pen - Ireland, Baker, N'Zogbia

Quite a poor month by all accounts. Anzhi got the better of us twice in the space of a week, with a loss in the North London derby sandwiched in the middle. We then managed back to back wins, before throwing away a three goal lead at home to Aston Villa.

Top goalscorer: Defoe (4)
Best player: Gylfi Sigurdsson.

The Icelandic international is playing more and more of a part in the first team. He scored a great goal against Sunderland and chipped in with a few assists this month too.

I've managed to get Southampton down to about £14mill but really don't want to pay that much. Will keep trying to tap him up ;)

wouldnt you consider buying a world class striker

believe it or not, Adebayor was the the best PL scorer in during 12/13 season. he scored 28 goals and thanks to him Tottenham won the league. I finished second (just by 2 pts.) with my MU. Tottenham also won the Europa League beating Fehnerbahce 2:0 in the final... so what I'm trying to say is that they do have potential and their players are all pretty skillful. don't waste it bro :)

most importanly they accomplished it all without Bale because I bought him for 40 mln in pre-season. Ashley Young was their star player.

good luck :)

Sanchez Mino,he'll only cost 5-6 mil and is unbelievable.

Or Peruzzi

For the left back situation :P

I got Shaw for 12m in the summer of 2014 for my Arsenal side. He was totally worth it.
