This is from a world free database game i have spare, my other game i play 7 teams, so its a bit naff for tactic testing, as it takes ages. I use this to build ideas in throw away months and then implement to whichever team i fancy in my main game :)

Idea came from another thread on the dugout and is still a working in progress, mosst likely move this into my England team, but might go flat back 4, 3 Registas, 1 AMC Treq and F9s for that. essentially as above but with FBs instead of wide mids.

Hardly as pass effective, as with the New York team, but its game one ad i lowered the tempo to slow, and Chelsea usually batter me in possesion so im happy enough with the 54%, CCC's are good as is the play to watch going forward, Joevtic should have had 3 in the first half,.. hopefully i can get the 2 reg involved a bit more over the weekend tweaks. There getting 80 ish at the min..

In the first post. just added look for overlap and exploit flanks. Ive 3 variations to work on at the min, the one above.

AP (AT) in the MC position.

same play at the back but with a more rodgers attcking diamond in front.

I find that having both a dlp and an ap usually does the trick

Both sitting in support? Ive a midfield with Kroos and Toure with a DLP (S) and AP (A), Kroos picks up from the back four and toure does the driving at the oppo..

In all the tactics I make I have a DLP defend and AP support.
 
Looks interesting. Esp the AP attack I never tried. How are you defensivelt with only 2 players on defend?

So I ended up this after my endless fiddling around, seems I always end up at some variation of a 4-3-3. Anyway, I would say it's more of a very aggressive 3-4-3 rather than a 4-3-3. The past 5 games I've averaged 65-75% possession (mostly with my reserves even in the CL) and the passing map has been the same as above for the games so far which is promising.

So far the HB, DLP and AP seem to average around 100 passes with the DLP getting 120+ a lot of the time. The WBs also get around 100 and the forwards all get around 50.

Can you think of anything to help keep possession more? Or any suggestions on making it better defensively? At the moment my best form of defence is the traditional Barca tactic of keeping the ball in their half as much as possible so they can't attack.
