me, I would never manage Man City and also I personally prefer to play as Exeter and get them promoted and improve everthing about the team and club

I think there isn't any point playing as man u, chelsea because you are already winning everthing anyway
 
I have managed Sunderland once.

Got them relegated. Oops. :$
 
I managed Liverpool in a game that I downloaded that was in the year 2030, they were expected to be relegated, I helping fallen giants like Leeds, Forest, Southampton etc..
 
Middlesbrough were pretty interesting. Came 2nd in the Championship with them. Got bored after 1 season in the Premier League. We came 15th I believe. :)
 
I´m currently managing Real Madrid, after playing and winning with Bordeaux, Heerenveen and Sampdoria I wanted to manage a spanish team and the dream job was Atletico or Getafe(big challenges) but the Real job was free so after much hesitation I took it.
Got a transfer budget of 300million Euros! To easy almost but still fun, won the treble first season, Europa League(yes not CL, they´ve not been succesful the latest years), La liga and the cup.
 
Ive managed Barcelona and sold Messi,Valdes,Puyol,Ibra and all other key players for 0
 
One word, never just coz i never feel like improving them. In one of my saves city are in League 2 thanks to FMRTE.(6)
 
I was managing Ireland and in my second season Aston Villa offered me a job. I took it sold Milner, Agbonlahor and Young and left for Cagliari. At the end of the season they finished 15th with Birmingham 12th. What a result.
 
I'd manage the mancs just long enough 2 buy all my **** players - so what if it's cheating - it's the mancs !
 
I've done Bristol City as their Bristol Rovers biggest rivals but would not dare to do Birmingham, WBA, Wolves or Rangers.
 
tried most scottish teams and most english teams its a game i play for enjoyment not for to get 1 up on rival teams ....
 
I managed Man United and Barcelona in my long term career when I was at an all time high!
 
That is an interesting point, because I am currently thinking of what club I should move to (in the top leagues) and having a favourite club in each country is sort of limiting.
In england - no liverpool, chelsea, arsenal, man city would only do Man Utd, Tottenham and Newcastle
In Spain - No real madrid, Valencia, Espanyol, Deportivo - only Barcelona
In Italy - No Milan, Fiorentian, Inter - only Juventus
In Germany - only Stuttgart

Right now I am holding out for Newcastle, but I do take into cosideration my favored team's rival and club I personally dislike.
 
I've actually managed Parma and Torino. I'd have no problems managing Roma nor AC Milan, but just the thought of managing Inter gives me the creeps.

Not geographical rivals, but i started a game with Chelsea, i wanted to replace the old squad with a new squad. but when i was doing well.. it all became too much seeing Chelsea winning stuff so i deleted the save :$
