I again found myself struggling for a new job, but just like buses you wait for ages then two come along at once.
View attachment 350685View attachment 350686View attachment 350687

Two job offers but quite honestly it annoys me that one laughed off my interest then offered me the job anyway, So despite the £4m+ transfer buget I rejected them!

We are going to Greece.

So who are Iraklis Psachnon?

from wikipedia
Iraklis Psachna Football Club is a Greek football club, based in Psachna, Euboea.
In 2009–10, Psachna earned promotion to the third tier of Greek football, Football League 2, for the first time in club history, as champions of Delta Ethniki Group 7.
In 2010–11, Psachna earned promotion to the second tier of Greek football, the Football League, for the first time in club history.
On 27 November 2011, in the fourth week of the 2011–12 Football League season, Iraklis Psachna achieved its first win in the Greek second tier in club history—a 2-0 defeat of Diagoras.

Here is how the club looks when I take over.

This is the tactic i intend to use while i'm here, I was to score a crazy amount of goals and that should certainly be possible with my approach here!
View attachment 350694

This is the league we find ourselves in.
View attachment 350696View attachment 350697

I am going for some ancient Greece style dominantion this time.
Father_Zeus_by_GENZOMAN.jpg

Win or lose I will be resigning my Paraguay post after this tournament, There is no league for me to load up and the national pool is tiny. They are just to erratic for my liking.

This is what it's all about.
copa_america.jpg

Up first are Venuzuela and we are favourites.
View attachment 347674

What us a favourites tag when we play like this? I'd hoped for 3 points so we didn't need a result off Brazil.
View attachment 347676View attachment 347675

Mexico represent by there U23's up next and this time we aren't favourites.
View attachment 347677

An excellent commanding victory, Mexico never got going and ripped them to shreds.
View attachment 347678View attachment 347679

Brazil massive favourites and we kind of need a result here aswell.
View attachment 347685

Unbelievable we ****** won!
View attachment 347686View attachment 347687View attachment 347688

We topped our group in the end.
View attachment 347692

Japan in the next round...no really Japan!

Why is Japan in the Copa America? I know you are in Europe now but I am only just finishing reading your Copa America campaign.

The squad although fleshed out was awful, Only around 3 players were any good so Plenty were brought in.
View attachment 350787

the following players were signed before my arrival.
View attachment 350788View attachment 350789View attachment 350790
View attachment 350791View attachment 350792View attachment 350794

Lav Lekic
A player who used to skirt around the edges of my Serbia squad, called up a few times but never capped. A massive capture for us. Adding to that he will also moonlight as my assistant at a mere 28 years of age.
View attachment 350796View attachment 350795

Daniel Stilinovic
New Zealand international and far to good for this level, He should be good enough once we get promoted so a brilliant signing.
View attachment 350797

Michael Butler
My second signing from New Zealand, No doubt the future of there defence and ours. 6'6 should make him lethal from corners.
View attachment 350809

Badara Camara
My leading strikr this season, Hopefully he can score for fun and mature into a player good nough for the top flight in one season....
View attachment 350811

Savvas Parginos
How does wow sound? I wouldn't hesitate to bring a player like this to the Premier League! A set piece specialist and all around brilliant player, Future squads will be built around him while i'm here.
View attachment 350813

We have won all our pre season frindlies, my formation appears to work hopefully we can kick on.
View attachment 350830

The crazy amount of goals I sought hasn't materalised as i'd hoped, The 6-1 loss to Niki Volou was the worst moment of the seson so far. But outside of that we have won more than anything else and after 15 games i'm quite pleased.
View attachment 350878

We currently sit third a single game in hand on first place, we can hopefull move on from here I have a player lined up for January who can hopefully bag us mountains of goals.
View attachment 350882

So far so good in Greece, We are at the right end of the table with little to no budget.

Congrats on the Sweden league. Btw, love your loss against Benfica :D

Why didn't you went for the Europa league. You may not have any other chance to conquer it, since you are a champions league manager...

The team was as good as it was ever going to get, I need at least 44 playrs to challenge properly and I just couldn't find any who would sign. Benfica clearly cheated just so we're clear :P

Maybe if Benfica get relegated i'll win some things with them? ;)

Asterios Katsarelias
I promised an exciting signing in January and I feel I have delivered! He looks immese for this level and hopefully he will make Greek defences look useless.
View attachment 351217

The remaining games of the season saw us up our game and lose only once along the way. I was also very happy with Katsarelias contribution.
View attachment 351218

In the end we romped it winning the league by a 9 point margin. We therfore took the only automatic promotion spot and we will play in the Superleague next season. Though we did appear to lift the trophy twice....

We didn't quite make any headway in the cup losing in the 4th round.

My seasons goal was achieved in promotion, Alot of work is needed on the squad as most are not good enough for the top flight.

That isn't exactly the budget of my dreams....I've readjusted it slightly to give myself around 120k to spend for what that's worth.
View attachment 351257

ALOT of players left so it's been a busy old transfer window.
View attachment 351258

Christodoulos Bamichas
The very reason I adjusted the budget, Our dfence at superleague level was going to be exposed so I splashed what little cash I had.
View attachment 351259

Stefanos Giantselis
Former Greek international who despite being 35 will be a key player for us next season.
View attachment 351261

Leonidas Papamichail
Signed as back up with the hope becomes something better...
View attachment 351264

Richard Smith
Needds work so will remain back up for now, hopefully he can mature.
View attachment 351265

Leonidas Voutsinas
Back up for both wings and nothing more.
View attachment 351266

Thomas Theodosiadis
Cover for both AMC positions, hopefully he can cement a place as his own shortly.
View attachment 351267

Giorgos Kazakis
Back up keeper as my other was released for being ****.
View attachment 351268

Skerdi Krasniqi
Hopefully the final bit in my defensive puzzle, I don't know if he will last long term but we shall see.
View attachment 351269

Christos Migiakis
Another former Greek international for the wing, Again despite his age he will be key for us this season.
View attachment 351270

This is the league we head into, Olympiakos are the team to beat.
View attachment 351271View attachment 351272View attachment 351273

We won all of our friendlies, two by huge margins. Hopefully this is a good sign for the coming season.

Half way through the season we have tasted defeat 5 times. Some were careless some were deserved bt we have still won more than we have lost.
View attachment 351276

6th place is good, My target for the season is 5th so we can get into Europe. We are only 5 off first so it's all to play for yet.
View attachment 351277

Camara has been a massive dissapointment to me this season, scoring just 4 goals. I have found a player I feel is significantly better in nearly every department.

Adrián Varillas
Possibly the best striker in the division, only time will tell. But for nw he is our best striker and hopefully the perfect foil for Katsarelias

Skimmed through this! A good read! You've done unbelievably well!
How're you doing on the FM leader boards and could you take a screenshot of your career stats?

There is a shot of all the competitions i've won on page 56, last post. I keep meaning to ss the HOF where i'm currently 5th i think.

We went on a blistering run of form towards the end of the season, managing to bag ourselves 4th spot in the league.
View attachment 351460

I wrongly thought this was the league done, Apparantly we can still get into the champions league!
View attachment 351461View attachment 351462

But before that we still have the cup.

Aiginiakos fell in the first round 4-1
View attachment 351463

We went one goal better in the second round against Oikonomos 5-1 it finished.
View attachment 351465

A 2-1 defeat followed by a 2-0 victory was enough in the 3rd round to see us through against Anag. Giannitson.
View attachment 351466View attachment 351467

2-0 at home and 3-1 away was more than enough to see off giants Panathinaikos in the 4th round.
View attachment 351469View attachment 351470

Olympiakos we well beaten 3-0 in there own stadium rendering the 1-1 draw at home irrelivent as we coasted through the quarter finals.
View attachment 351471View attachment 351472

We absolutley battered Panaitolikos 3-0 then 6-1 for a massive 9-1 aggregate victory, as we fly into our first ever final.
View attachment 351473View attachment 351474

Panionios in the final provided absolutley no resistance as we romped to a massive 4-0 victory!

Sadly we couldn't add to our season with champions league football, We finished second in the European qualification league. We already had Europa League footall from the cup so sadly this was worthless to me.

The board are happy as am I.

We didn't need alot adding to the squad but again the budget hardly inspired ambition.
View attachment 351522

When I got to select my seasons target I have upped the ante and gone for a top half finish, But make no mistake we will be launching a full scale attack on the title.
View attachment 351521

With my ambitions in mind I have added 3 players to an already competitive squad.
View attachment 351523

Motlatsi Lekhooa
Already skirting around the edges of the South Africa squad, I feel he vastly improves our right hand side in almost everyway.
View attachment 351524

David Eagar
He becomes our forth player from New Zealand he does also hold Dutch nationality and therefor does not take up a foreign spot in my squad.. He was signed originally as a starter but that all changed later as you will see in a minute. Now he is back up and he will need to get used to it.
View attachment 351525

Mario Penchev
A huge outlay for a player of his age and a club of our stature, but look at him! Already capped by Bulgaria at 18 and is certain to start and hopefully star for us. My coaches already believe he is one of the best players at the club and will greatly improve in years to come.
View attachment 351526

We won all our friendlies, 3 against opposition you of actually heard of! We also tonked a couple of local non league teams by criket scores.
View attachment 351527

Everything has fallen into place beautifully for a full blooded title challenge this year.

We have played superbly so far in the season, Losing only once and playing in a GOTY contender against OFI. My new signings have proven the difference at vital times during these games.
View attachment 351529

We sit pretty in first 2 points ahead of Olympiakos, Last seasons champions OFI are completley absent and looking in big big trouble.
View attachment 351530

People have requested the hall of fame and I finaly remembered to screenshot it. I sit in 4th place one better than I thought, not bad since I haven't won a single major European league! Jose Mourinho sits in a nearly uncatchable position at the top as I edge ever closer to Alex Ferguson.
