We absolutley flew out of the blocks in the league, wrapping up 15 wins from 15. I highly doubt anyone will challenge us for our title this year.

The best two results in my opinion were, the 7-0 beating of Vit. Guimarães and the 8-0 victory over Freamunde.

Not sue about this one, hardly lethal in front of goal. But for 17 his physical and mental stats aren't bad. He will spend at least a season in the youth team.

That is more like it! The only thing that may hold him back is, we already have two brilliant young strikers. We only play with one upfront so he may suffer for that. I'll look to loan him out next season and hopefully he will develop to the point wwhere I can't ignore him.

We opend our cup campaign against Setúbal and gave them a sound 3-0 thrashing.

When Freamunde won there semi final I was filled with hope, then this happend on match day. 9 of my first 11 missing through internationals.

I'm aiming to improve on last seasons showing, Minimum aim is the semi finals, but i'dd far prefere to win it!

Two wins against Beşiktaş a 3-0 and a 4-1 showed the superiority we possessed over them.

The only team I was worried about were Real Madrid, In Madrid they more than matched us finishing 1-1. In Portugal we won 5-2 and even missed a penalty!

With Bakari got injured I was slightly concerned at the thought of Juventus, I needn't of worried Djalo showing he is more than capable of stepping in. We didn't deserve to win either game but win them we did 4-0 on aggregate.

Paris Saint-Germain in the semi final, Losing 3-1 in Paris was not part of the plan. 1-1 was all we managed in Portugal and we crashed out 4-2 on aggregate....

So sad that Benfica is not doing well in the league...

Maybe you need to get players with more stars, aka, CA. Do your staff have all 4/5 stars? Or maybe go for the mental attributes, instead of technical. I always think that FM likes mental and physical players.

Btw, I little upset you could not upload the save, would love to get Benfica back on their feet!

I may change formation, but it's all up in the air for now. I have several bosmans lined up already, now I just need to fit them in...
