still they aint used to playing in england the weather is freezing at the moment which might not be too good for em either

They can't get jet lagged from a 3 hour flight. That's the first thing.

Secondly, he wasn't back to his best first match back, he has to feel his way back in to the side and get back into the flow of things. There is no way that he will be able to control the game like he normally does against a full strength Inter Milan who are in good form on his first game back from being out of action for 6 weeks.

Essien does tend to slip straight back into the team easily he scored away at juventus in his 1st game back last season and i believe follwed it up with a goal against man city 3days later. I believe essien is our best player and when he plays we play our best football. 2-0 in 2nd leg

agree with everything you said there except maybe the 2-0 may not be that easy unless we are at our best im gonig for a 1-0 win

I think Inter will win the tie, don't know about the result at Stamford Bridge but for all the possesion Chelsea had they didn't do alot and Inter could so easily have put it to bed with that Eto'o chance. Also I think Mourinho seems to know how to play Chelsea like Desailly (spelt so badly wrong) said after the game Inter got the goals without ever looking at all exposed at the back. I think Chelsea fans are way too cocksure, another early goal at Stamford bridge and it's curtains for Chelsea.

i love mourinho allways have i like him more then ancelotti but he aint the one out on the pitch is he?? eberyone was saying he was gunna be the reason for inter thrashing man utd lat season but man utd came out winners and i knew man utd woud win they have too much quality for inter and i also think the same thing will happen at stamford bridge

Surely we know about jose more than anyone but at home i am 100% possitive we can turn anyone over wether jose in charge or not. We will play zhirkov in 2nd leg and his not 1of joses signings so he will give us something different.

Well Inter got the early goal today and Chelsea were lucky to score I think, bad goalkeeping from Cesar and maybe unlucky to not get that penalty, when I watched it on the replay it was deffinately a penalty but Kalou went down like he was diving. Still 90 minutes of football to play but I'd deffinately say advantage Inter.

yh he will tell his players to do these certain things but how do you know they will be successful at doing so. mourinho can only tell them what to do he cant control them during the match

Mourinho is one of the best managers in the world. He has the respect of the players. If he says do something, they will do it to the best of their ability! He is the biggest factor in this tie. Drogba will probably be missing again, Anelka will probably be poor and Lampard will be the main threat. But Mourinho knows Lampard like the back of his hand. If he sets Muntari on Lampard and tells him to sit on him, Lampard won't be able to do anything! It's that simple. If Inter do what Mourinho says, they will go through. Simple as that.

I don't know whether it's intentional but you seem to forget that as well as Jose knows the Chelsea players, the Chelsea players also know how Mourinho likes to play and have an idea of the tactics he likes using from working with him for all them years.

Obviously the scoreline suggests that Inter are on the front foot but i don't see an advantage to anyone yet. The away goal is so pivotal. If Inter had won 1-0 then i wouldn't be so confident.

I highly doubt it.
Judging by the match today, his tactics are similar to the ones used at Chelsea so i don't think he will change it too much if they were so successful in the past.
