yeah honestly, dmf you seem so sure inter will win purely because he knows chelsea "inside out", you don't think Chelsea anticipate this? obviously they do, and the fact they know mourinho just as well as he knows them makes it even more silly to be so sure of an Inter win.

Chelsea were better, I reckon if Cole or/and Bosingwa was playing they would have won this. Inter did not look that strong at all, the only thing that makes an Inter win possible is the injuries Chelsea have at the moment.
 
I'm not so sure that inter will win. I was simply saying that mourinho knows them inside out which will help them. I said it wouldn't surprise me if inter won 1-0 but I do expect Chelsea to go and win 2-1 because I don't see Chelsea keeping a clean sheet with a rocky defense and dodgy keeper.

Was a decent game, Chelsea always looked like the better side for me, Apart from that 10 minute spell after Cambiasso's bullet of a strike.

Jose' tactical gamble failed i think. Inter went off the boil when Eto' was subbed.

Chelsea should have had a stone waller and that free kick was class.

Will be an interesting return leg. Inter will sit back and try to frustrate Chelsea. They need a goal because i cannot see them keeping Chelsea out.

he knows mourinho inside out? so ancellotti mite know of mourinho. but he sure as **** wont know him inside out. not in the same way mourinho knows chelsea and them players. he made drogba, cech, lampard, essien, terry ect ect. theres only a few new signings there, the lazy anelka and the lump that lump of a defender. who i cant spell his name. from serbia. chelsea will nt know everything about inters players in the same way mourinho knows chelseas.

He was referring to the Chelsea players knowing Mourinho inside out as well as Mourinho knowing them.
 
Chelsea played a wide 4-5-1/4-3-3 under Mourinho, Ancelotti plays a 4-4-2 diamond doesn't he. Different roles are assigned to different players so I wouldn't be so sure that Mourinho knows Chelsea "Inside Out."

What does everyone think will happen?

For some reason i have bad feeling about the game but im just glad we've got an away goal as you can see how costly it could be if you don't get one (Madrid - Lyon).

I wish i went tonight. Luckily for him, my brother is going as i went to the Chels - Barca semi last year :'(
 
Yeah use this thread for the 2nd leg aswell, easier.

I can see Chelsea running riot tbh, although Inter might score 1 or 2 vs Turnbull.
 
i personally can't see either team running riot will be close.;)

Come on Inter, i can honestly see them getting at least a draw here maybe a win (last minute after penalty after penalty appeal turned down for chelsea) ohh what a night that would be ;)

stupid ****** booking for the ref to give, how often do you see players react like that and how often do they get booked? what **** reffing

Refs nowadays,no matter how bad a tackle don't book anyone until 20-25 minutes,i think it's stupid,if it's a yellow,it's a yellow,simples.
 
yeah i agreee but it wasnt a booking, he just jumped up and down in frustration lol why does that earn a yellow

also, is it just me or has Andy Gray got a problem with Samuel E'to. its as if he can not wait to make a little remark about him or something lol what a great chance he wasted though :(
