A warm up for the FA Cup final, If we play like this we have a huge chance for silverware.

Premiership
Chelsea 4 - 0 Ipswich

View attachment 449693
An awful display could have lost by 10, hopefully we can turn it around quickly.

Premiership
Ipswich 2 - 1 Swansea

View attachment 449694
Went for a standard 4,4,2 to get both forwards on the field.
Both got on the score sheet early and we held on with another poor team performance.

May 2015

Premiership
Southampton 2 - 1 Ipswich

View attachment 449695
Have been trying out a variety of formations and players to try and resolve this possession issue. Nothing seems to work as of yet but at least we have been keeping the scores close and stealing the odd result.

Premiership
Ipswich 3 - 2 West Ham

View attachment 449696
A great comeback albeit against a poor West Ham side.
Colclough injury will keep him out for the final 2 games.

FA CUP FINAL
Ipswich 2 - 1 Manchester City

View attachment 449697
A fantastic win played a very conservative style and countered well.
City had a last minute goal denied to hand us the trophy.

Premiership
Cardiff 1 - 1 Ipswich
View attachment 449699
Cradiff out performed us so happy with the point to end the season.
Is quite fitting really given how many games we have drawn.

Final Premiership Table
View attachment 449700
A really tight league see's Southampton take the League, Manchester City and Tottenham missing out on european football. We cap off our first year in the top flight with a top ten finish.

Players Stats

View attachment 449702
Only Ipswich player to make a mark Is Landu only 1 goal off Rhodes who continues to be a fawn in our side.

Years Statistics

View attachment 449663View attachment 449662
Hunte didn't get many starts this year as he suffered quite a few injury's. Hopefully we can get another guy contributing to the score sheet as Landu carried the team in that regard. Hopefully Grace and Wickham can get into double figures next season.

Job Offers

Not interested in moving away from Portman Road so turned down my first interview.

Let me know if their is any info you would like to see from the past season.

Looking forward to Ipswich in Europe.

Liking it so far! 1 question: How do you make your screenshots so large? When I 'Insert Images' they're a fraction the size of yours

Liking it so far! 1 question: How do you make your screenshots so large? When I 'Insert Images' they're a fraction the size of yours

They come up small for me too. Just have to double click the image and a pop comes up where you can change the image to Large.

Thanks for reading.

Alright mate, liking the story, could you post a screenie of Nkusu Landu and Connor Hunte please? cheers pal

Season 15/16

Season Expectations
This year our goals will be to achieve a mid table position and to get out of the group stage in the Euro Cup.
I have a 20 Million budget, however I will most likely move it to 10 Million to allow for a larger wage allowance.

A lot of old contracts came to an end, Loach has been great the past 2 years but want to start getting Henly some more playing time so couldn't turn down the bid from Chelsea. A lot of youngsters have gone out on Loan most notably Hunte who I sent to our feeder club Crewe.

IN

View attachment 447473
This year went and brought in a couple of guys with Premiership experience but still with 10+ years ahead of them. They will all have starting roles.

View attachment 447471
Thorne joins from a relegated West Brom side, He adds a versatile body in the middle.

View attachment 447470
Our back four has been a consistent throughout the past 2 seasons but Chambers is starting to tail off. Coates will join Smith as CB starting pair with Hurst and Uvini will be rotated in. I will look to move on Chambers in January if this pairing works out.

View attachment 447469
Morrison joins from another relegated team in West Ham. Another versatile guy can play in 4 different roles in various formations we play in, hopefully can add some flair.

Breaking Transfer News

Having no one really flourish at these winger positions decided to grab another young and fast kid.
He can also play MR in 4,4,2 where we don't have a natural player.
Starting to use that formation more in an attempt to get both Wickham and Landu on the field at the same time.

Premiership
Reading 3 - 5 Ipswich

View attachment 447464
A Landu Hat-trick, Hyam's sending off put us under a little more pressure.
although we scored 3 goals when down to 10 men.

Great away point, we were really under the gun a defensive point if there was ever one.

Thanks for reading, Hopefully we can grab one but will be tricky as coming up to a dense run of games. Either European competition will be great but mainly for building up the prestige, Have a lot of players not interested in even negotiating.

Brilliant story, great lay out and a very interesting read. I shall defiantly be following closely, keep up the good work!

Season 16/17

Season Goals

This year we won't see European football after making the Europa Cup final,
So we will be looking to qualify via League standing this year.
Alongside this goal I am to start pushing the board into expanding,
or building a new stadium to grow the club further.

We have a transfer budget of 28 Million, so I will be most likely looking for a Forward.
Landu has had to many droughts in front of the goal last season.
Bent is physically declining and Wickham seems to get hurt ever other game.
Grace and Collier look like great prospects, and will be getting some playing time with the first team up front.

Defensively I'll be looking at a true beast CB as we only have Hurst coming through the youth system.
Last year that was one area I found we were lacking in depth coming down the home stretch.

Transfers In

View attachment 438930
My first year spending big breaking our transfer record not once but twice. In between the big buys were some great free additions primarily which were made in January, such as Egan whom now with the acquisition of Toloi and Danek will not even see the bench, unless the plague hits our CB's

Transfer Breakdowns

View attachment 438941
Mrcela is touted to be a world class midfielder, only 15 and he will be getting some playing time.

View attachment 438940
Ward-Prowse was a target last summer but Southampton wanted 12+ Million for him,
After their bad year for Southampton they let him go for quite a bit less.
Adds a lot to the middle with great work rate and passing.
Will look to improve his Tackling and he will be a well rounded CM.

View attachment 438939
Djordjevic hopefully will be the solution up front, adds some international experience that will be good to rub off of the young Forwards that we have developing.

View attachment 438938
Mujika comes in as I have had a tough time keeping hold of a backup keeper. Will have this young Spaniard on the bench ever week and playing for the U21's in an attempt to appease him.

View attachment 438937
Correa was our coup of the free transfers pinching him from Real Madrid. Also with our new Argentinian feeder club he will help whenever bring in youngsters from their ranks.

View attachment 438936
Said is not as finished an article as Djordjevic, so he will be going straight out on Loan to Crewe. Hopefully that will speed up his development and worst case he becomes a healthy profit in a couple of years, if not a contributor.

View attachment 438934
Toloi is an old FM favorite of mine, was offered him by Inter and couldn't turn him down. A bit older than I would normally pay out for but 25 for a CB is still a spring chicken.

View attachment 438933
Danek is our CB for the future now, has all the attributes I want,
specifically Mental will become a great role model to come.
Perhaps over spent on him but I had just missed out on Balanta,
whom went to Manchester United for ?24 Million so the ?15 didn't feel so bad.

Transfer Out

View attachment 438932
Santangelo left as wanted more playing time as a keeper so let him leave knowing who we had coming in for free.
Ibrahim and Holt both left for 3 Million each. Both had their moments but were not solid contributors.
So I couldn't turn down those offers as would be unlikely to resign in a couple of years.
Everyone else is going out on loan McNamara at Cardiff is the big one.
The Irish forward will be getting some Premiership starts,
and bring him back in time for Bents departure next year.

Preseason Fixtures

View attachment 438931
Maybe started a little early and the first 2 games had pretty terrible fitness levels.
Lots of goals, perhaps conceding a few to many. But had a nice travel around the globe,
and team looks fresh into the new season.

He was struggling to get any playing time and only had a year left on his contract so happy with the profit.

Transfers Around the League

The two Manchester Club's were the biggest spenders in The Premiership.

This is an excellent story, good to see Ipswich back in the Premier League, my birth place! Have you had many quality players come through your own academy?
