I scored 9 goals in 9 games for my University from Centre back - 6-7 of them were back post headers from deep crosses.

It is an exploit. This isn't real football don't forget, it is a game that runs on code.

If simply aiming a corner to the far post is an exploit then it really needs to be sorted, its football common sense to aim for the big man at a corner.

Neven Subotic scored 37 goals for me last season and won both top goalscorer in the EPL and the european gold boot award.

so what attributes will be required for this, heading and jumping will be the obvious ones but is there any others that stand out?

I agree, it does need to be sorted. It's been like that for ages now and it's far too easy to score.

Like a few people have mentioned, this is just common sense. Yes, it feels unrealistic but I've gotten Carlisle United into the Champions League, so I don't think realism matters in this game.

Bad choice of words I reckon, but its not cheating, I used the same tactic last season, I was using Sunderland, same corner setup, Turner scored about 5 and Bramble 3. So it doesn't seem like a cheat, Shawcross is just better at it .

i'm not even using this corner tactic but shawcross has scored 5 in 9 from corners, i think he's a bit good in this situation, god knows how many he'd score if i used it

The problem is definately the delivery though. Particularly in lower league and even the Championship. A player with 15 corner taking will put the ball in the right place 9 out of ten times. It has always been a problem on every hame of fm and is now just getting ridiculous

I have 22 goals too, it's not a bug just players with really good set pieces + finishing. It only happens with one of my players too.

J. Evans does it for me, 9 goals in total for me last season, 7 i think so for this season and i know he got a hat trick in one game for me.

Meite in WBA's reserves is fantastic at this also always heads the ball downwards towards goal.. Same goes for Chris Samba id love too see John Terry or Nemanja Vidic with that corner set up

Brede Hangeland scored 13 league goals in my first season, all far post headers, but I never altered my corner delivery, kept it as default/mixed, I guess it helps to have a set piece specialist taking corners (Danny Murphy)!

There are far too many goals from corners in the game in my opinion anyway. My centre backs have scored hatricks from these corner settings, takes a lot of realism out of the game.

i had a defender (the brazilian ryan shawcross - he is epic in my game) after 10 games leading my team to glory highest goal scorer with 15 goals... then he got injured... and neymar decided to score for fun :( i wanted my defender to win the golden boot :)

Can this work both ways? I.e. is there a way to concede almost 0 goals from corners? If there's a way to exploit going forward surely there's a way to prevent the opposition scoring at the other end?

That Djorou scored a hat trick for me with Arsenal and finished with about 12 goals!!

Pique scored a hattrick against Real for me. Two by corners this way and then I got awarded a penalty and for some reason Pique steps forward and scored the third.
