Usually 4/5 on a Large with no trouble. Wanting to try a few more in 2011 for youth players.

should be similar for FM 11 then. What you could do is try more, see how it runs and then decide if it is fast enough and do a serious game

Current laptop:

CPU and Memory:
AMD Athlon dual core QL-65.
2.1GHz processor speed.
3GB DDR2 RAM memory.
250GB SATA hard drive.

Display features:
15.6in display.
Resolution 1366 x 768 pixels.

DVD optical drives:
Dual layer.

Graphics:
ATI Radeon HD with 3200 graphics card.

Is it worth forking 6/7 hundred quid out for a desktop, or will this be alright for FM11?

This would do ok, but only if you have just a couple of countries/leagues loaded. Any more than that and it would be too slow IMO.

6/7 hundred would get you a pretty decent machine :D

the one problem i find with computers in shops like pc world dell and such like (expt for Alineware cmputers) is the grpahics card are allwasy shared graphiscs not that should really affect the performace and massive deal if the processor is good enough but can affect the ME. basically the reason why i got mine custom built i would allwasy recomend.

One you tend to save money

and two you know exactly what you are buying and you arent buying **** you really dont need (for example recordable blue ray player if you dont need or really will ever use it)

ok he had it upgraded to 4gb RAM and 500gb on disc and it has geforce 8600 is this worth 450?
