11 Games In, 'Beath Are Flying

After the swift exit from two cup competitions, Cowdenbeath have picked themselves up and managed to turn the clubs fortunes around.

This is believed to be due to the great free-bies manager Frankie Hobbs managed to pick up before the deadline. These included Fabio Ferriera and Lateef Elford-Alliyu.

These are the players Frankie managed to bring in since the last update.

So, after 11 games, Blue Brazil now lie in 3rd, the play-offs are a real possibility for the club who were favourites for relegation at the start of the year. Frankie knows this will take hard work and no-one will lose focus.

Many pundits tipped them for relegation, and after the first few games, it looked like these predictions were justified. But manager Frankie Hobbs, got in some terrific signings, and got The Blue Brazil playing a great brand of football, and this saw them storm to the championship. The deadly duo of Hampshire and Elford-Alliyu were thought to be the key, scoring 35 goals between them.

Hobbs To Griffin Park?

After a great debut season with Cowdenbeath, it has been revealed that Brentford are quickly chasing manager Frankie Hobbs for the Griffin Park Hotseat. Neither Cowdenbeath or Hobbs have released statements. But if the London club offer Frankie the chance, will he be able to turn down a return to England.
