Hobbs Seals New Deal With Beath

Frankie Hobbs has quickly come out to put to bed rumours that he was interested in the recently vacant Brentford job by signing a new 2 year contract. As an up and coming manager, this might not be the only job offer he could turn down. This is something Cowdenbeath chairman agrees with. '' Of course Frankie had a big say in our great campaign. He is the driving force behind this club, he makes all the decisions, he even offered to manage for less in order to add more to his wage budget. A truly great man, and we're so glad he will be staying.''

Missed opportunity for Frankie? You decide...

I think that was a great schoice because you will carry on domanating mate

I'm doing something similar to this mate. I'll be following. ^^)

Loving this thread.

If I was any good in this game, I'd do something like this too.
I'll stick to Reading for now, any lower would be too hard for me. :'(

Sorry I just couldnt help it.

I was in limbo as to name the thread 'It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock n roll' :D

I am actually quite glad you decided to stay at Cowdenbeath. Good luck for the season ahead.

Beath Face Relegation Battle After Dream Signings

Cowdebeath have made a solid start to life in the first division. They currently lie in 7th place, just one point off the dreaded drop-zone.

This came after a great start to the season where at one stage it looked as if they could challenge for the title.

The Transfers made were startling to say the least. Frankie managed to bring in Ian Ashbee, Vitor Flora and Gilbert, among other former premiership players.

The Biggest game of the season was without doubt the game against Celtic in the Cup in which there were no shocks, but still a great day out for all associated with the Blue Brazil.

Can Beath Survive, and can they hold onto upcoming manager Frankie Hobbs.

Celtic showed you. But in 3-4 years, you will show them.

Keep it up Frankie. :D

1. He got promoted in the first season, he was tipped for relegation so they cant be bad.

2. He has not uploaded the tactic, Frankie is testing it for him.

Yeah it's one i made for Spurs. Like my Chelsea one it was made for Spurs alone but it seems to be working ok with other sides. Might upload it :)

Going to be a hard season Frank. Even if you stay up via play off it would be a good year.

Is he gonna stay again or go this time...? (A)

Nahhh, he'll stay I'm sure :D

Good stuff mate, some good wins and the team looks good - I don't know what lured me to this thread, it just hit me :) Keep it up though!

Mason Urges Hobbs To Stay

ryan_mason240a.jpg

After recent rumours of Cowdenbeath manager Frankie Hobbs set to leave Central Park, 20 Year old Forward Ryan Mason has urged him to stay on with the Blue Brazil. Frankie had been keen on a move to England, but with all the 'beath players on side, how can he leave?

''Frankie's is a top bloke, and one that would be sorely missed, he has a passion for the game like no-one else, he puts faith into young players like myself, and I think will be managing a top team soon. I would just like to say to him, please stay, on behalf of the squad''

So, a last hurrah from one of the Beath boys as Frankie Hobbs has to make his mind up over his future.

Hobbs Snubs Hartlepool, But Left Powerless to 'Beath Defeat

IvarIngimarssonAndrewBoyersActionImages460276.jpg

On the day Frankie Hobbs put to bed speculation linking him with the Hartlepool job, the Cowdenbeath players failed to react, despite putting best efforts against title challenging Hamilton. They went down 2-1 at New Douglas Park in an even game.

Hamilton raced into a two-goal lead, before Gary Mackay-Steven's cross was turned in by a Hamilton player, the comeback seemed on. But, Hamilton held out, to put Cowdenbeath one place off the relegation play-off place.
