Cowdenbeath gave their fans a great present today with a comfortable 2-0 win over Raith. Fabio Ferriera opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the second half, and Mackay-Steven completed the win in the 70th minute with a low driven strike from 18 yards.
''It was a good win, hopefully now we can focus more on the football rather than my future for the time being, I feel we can now focus on survival and building for next year.'' (Frankie Hobbs)
hm, thought he is that Fulham at start of game, may be wrong though, he did play for Liverpool, we just signed all there youth coaches when Rafa sacked them all, now we our in the process of signing all there youth player, however, mint Story Frankie, loving the 'Blue Brazil' knickname.
New 'Orient boss Frankie Hobbs has had a very busy January. Completing 10 deals, and bringing back 2 players from former club Cowdenbeath. The biggest coup of the window was without doubt the signing of Michael Phillips on loan from Stoke. Also deals to note were Andrew Taylor for a reported £150,000.
When Frankie took over, Leyton Orient were lieing in 20th place, and after just losing 6-0 at home to Peterborough, confidence was low. But, the up and coming Manager has seemed to turn it around with 4 wins and 2 draws from the last 10 games. It really seems as if Orient can stay up this year.
So Frankie seems to have made some difference, long hope this continue and see if Frankie can manage his rapid rise through the ranks of Football Management.
Ok, with the closure of my Highbury thread for a while, back on to this I hop, just read it, and forgot to update the end of the season, it shall be posted tomorrow.
