Deal of the day goes to Ride The Walrus who managed to pick up a great full back in Goncalves for the bargain price of 15 million.

*** of the day is hard to give out, this round was a lot more sensible than previous ones. But Dan spending £51 million on Rodriguez is the closest i can get. To be fair to Dan, Rodriguez is class, and there was a lot of interest around the £40 million mark, so the extra £10 million to secure him might be worth it. The extravagant money spent on promising, but unproven youngster Suso is also questionsable, as is the cash spent on Uysal.
