Jamie Carragher - A Managers Story

My fourth game in charge was a heated game between ourselves and Espanyol. We ran out 4-0 winners and it was all too easy. Ronaldo did his usual and scored two while their were rare goals for Marin and Balanta. I'd taken Bale back to his early Tottenham days as he played left back because Wendell was injured, and he didn't dissapoint.

It looks like that was the final nail in the coffin for Xabi.
It's a shame it was me who put him out of a job, I've
always liked him but the results don't lie and he didn't
help himself in his time at Espanyol.

Espanyol's form since the turn of the year. Only one win in the league meant
that Xabi's time at the club would be cut short. If he is looking to take a break
from management I would love to make him part of my coaching staff.

I've had an amazing start to life in Madrid. We've won all 4 games and we
are yet to concede a goal. The defence has been extremely solid and with
Ronaldo at the other end you're always expecting goals.

We've moved up to second and Barca have dropped points. We're only
5 points behind and for some reason we still have to play them twice
in the league. I think we can do it.

We've now gone five games in a row without conceding a goal, and were hardly struggling at the other end either! It was a game of anything you can do I can do better with Gareth Bale and Ronaldo today, with them both scoring stunning goals. James Rodriguez topped off a wonderful performance with a world class goal and Heung-Min came off the bench to finish it off. Another completely amazing display and I'm really starting to feel that winning mentality here.

Another hat-trick for the genius that is Cristiano Ronaldo. I've managed some great players in my time as a manager but none so like this man. He is miles ahead of everyone on the pitch at 38 years of age. Unbelievable. We're through to the quarter finals in hope that we can reach the final like we have in many years recently.

7 out of 7 for me now. We didn't play that well today but the goals still flew in. Rodriguez was my MOTM and he scored a scorching free kick. Lozano bagged a brace after a string of average performances, I'm not sure if he will be a Madrid player at the start of next season. Pershin bagged his second goal of the season fro midfield. He looks like a real talent.

ADVICE TIME

Got my eye on a really good regen Mexican attacking midfielder (left)

Do I nickname him Santiago Munez and use pictures from Goal 2 for when he scores etc?

Think some would love this but others wouldnt?

Let me know :)

I was following your story for some time and I got really scared that you'll drop it. Hope you continue with this untill FM16's launch. And +1 for that idea. Great movie. Thank you for such a good story!

Thanks everyone for your feedback!

Cheers mate, yeah I thought I'd seen the end of it the other day but I've got motivation again so I'm glad I never ended it. The plan is to continue until FM16 so hopefully I can!

It was that time of the year. We had our latest intake of youth talent at the clubs and it was time to evaluate who we would bring in to the youth system. There is a difference when you're t Real Madrid though. If you wan't to be a top player you really have to stand out. Only 2 of the lads did, but I could see them both having bright futures at the club if we train them the right way.

First up is Gabriel Gomez. Who looks a lot older than 15 with that beard! He's a natural centre midfielder who reads the game extremely well. He has a lot to add to his technical side of the game, but at 15 he looks like a real talent.

Our second is Alfredo Macias. A 16 year old goalkeeper who also has a lot to learn. But he's going to get the experience of his life as I'm bringing him straight into the senior squad as backup to Casilla who has been amazing since I've arrived. He will be on £55 a week as he is a youngster so I can now cut off Juan Carlos' contract.
